The Hog's Back Hotel & Spa Farnham

The spa facilities were poor! I use this hotel for the gym & pool/sauna steam room. The steam room has been out of action now for the past month plus the Sauna wasn't working this morning.

Great location and easy access. Fitness center was above par and opened early in the morning. Helpful staff during all my interactions.

It was a very handy location. Whilst the stay was comfortable the Hotel itself appears dated and lacking a loving touch. Neither the steam room nor the Jacuzzi were working in The Leisure Club (which was a factor in us choosing the hotel) so the sauna was full constantly.Pool was a touch cool too. Not a lot of staff present and breakfast whilst fine seemed to have been stood for some time. Will give it another go as locations suits for regular visits to that area.

The room was not ready to check in at 2pm so we were told to wait in the bar (with no discount for the inconvenience) . In the bar we ordered a club sandwich which took 40 minutes to be brought to the table - cold. Very small portion of a main course superfood salad. The leisure centre was good. Breakfast average. Not a place to visit again

Room was spacious, clean and tidy. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water for the three of us. Excellent breakfast! We only stayed a night so can't comment on the other amenities. Lovely view of the countryside from our window. Friendly, helpful reception staff. Super convenient for Farnham and Aldershot. Great deal on our family room. Would definitely stay again.

I stayed for two nights at the Hog's Back Hotel & Spa. The next morning, I put out the sign for room cleaning before heading out for a meeting with my client. When I returned in the evening, I was shocked to find my room messier than I had left it. The bed was stripped, and the sheets and duvet covers were tossed onto the floor, as shown in the attached pictures. I immediately went to the reception to report the situation. The manager accompanied me to the room, visibly upset by what he saw. After checking his records, he informed me that he couldn't determine what had happened. I expressed my concern that I couldn’t sleep in such disarray, with everything scattered around. He then arranged for me to change rooms and assured me he would investigate the issue and follow up. However, during my entire stay, I never received any response or apology from the hotel staff. This experience was quite challenging for me, especially as a doctor who was on a business trip at the Hog's Back Hotel & Spa.

Lovely comfortable stay at this hotel. Very clean, comfy beds. Pool & Spa,facilities very nice.

Staff were fantastic, lovely relaxing stay.

Average hotel in outskirt area. Breakfast is very limited. Spa was closed for maintenance so not possible to access. Only good point is the well equipped gym.

This hotel is basic ok. The rooms are clean and spacious enough. Really basic style, nothing wow or any luxury feel. The pool, jacuzzi and sauna were nice to use. The food in the restaurant (we had a breakfast and one dinner) was mediocre; the dinner not worth the price though.

I stayed in a ground floor bedroom. It was clean, modern and well equipped for my stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I could very clearly hear heavy feet walking around above me, loud voices and coughing. It appears that sound travels very easily through the ceiling. Reception listened to my complaint as I couldn't get to sleep and advised me that there were no other available rooms to move to, so I asked for ear plugs, which were provided. I found the bed comfortable but got very warm. This is in November! I couldnt see any air conditioning. The breakfast was basic. Small boxes of cereals. I think muesli should be available. The cooked breakfast was ok but the bacon was very dry and hard. There was no wholemeal bread available for toast, only white. I found the whole experience of my stay very disappointing.

The person on reception when we arrived was extremely miserable and we felt like us being there was an inconvenience for him. The room was ok but not as clean as I would have expected and the pool was freezing cold.everyone in the pool said it was unusually cold and they came regularly. I did inform a member of staff as my daughters were so excited to spend some time in the pool and were so disappointed as it was far to cold for them to be in. I did ask a member of staff if they could make it warmer as we were planning to come back the following day and his response was “we can’t keep everyone happy”,
