Excellent stay. Staff and accomodation first class. Being a golfer it was perfect . The facilities and course were excellent. The course despite the horrendous recent weather was excellent and a credit to the greenkeepers. Can’t wait to go back.

Probably the best and most modern bathroom I have been a guest in, which was very much appreciated, and the bedroom was also clean and comfortable. My only minor quibble was the permanently-on green light above the door, presumably to light the exit in case of emergency, but it was quite bright and made it more difficult to sleep - not a big problem, but definitely annoying, and I couldn't find any way to switch it off (odd I've not seen this in any hotel) Apart from that, a very comfortable stay.

No one at the reception when we arrived so had to wait a bit and then another couple then said we had to go to the bar area . Lodge good but surprised no lounge area snd 2 separate bedrooms nice big bathroom . Had a good stay

Overall the room and bathroom were in good condition and nicely decorated. The room lacked lighting, and only had 3 table-side lamps for the whole room with no main light which left the room dark at all times of the day. There were a few large cobwebs in the corner of the room, however overall the stay was good and would stay again

Overall it was a very pleasant stay in lovely surroundings, unfortunately a couple of issues didn't quite make it ideal, no full length mirror and no window blinds with the curtains as we were woken very early with daylight/sun flooding the room!

Cant get a mobile sig in down stairs room which hotel cant control BUT ALSO CANT GET ANY WIFI IN ROOM … could see it for 1 min then dropped out / disappeared,

staff very helpful rooms nice
could do with more signage to check in as we parked over at the Golf Course car park.
wifi was not working in the room which was a shame as the phone signal is very poor out there

Lovely room, nice comfy bed, warm and inviting. Large well equipped bathroom. The modern trend for liquid soaps in the shower and sink are great but left me without a method for washing in the bath :o)! Easily remedied by a trip to reception who provided a bar of soap for me.
Restaurant choice was limited but well presented and tasty. We would happily come back for another stay.

Nice place, next to the golf course , just outside the town of Kendal. Clean and comfortable couldn't fault it. Couldn't book breakfast at the time making the booking however there is an onsite restaurant serving breakfast.
