Hotel Lobelia

The room's condition is unsatisfactory, characterized by a lack of cleanliness and an aging, noisy bed. While the location is advantageous, a renovation of the room and an optimization of services are recommended. The staff, however, are professional and respectful.

Rooms were small, but well furnished and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful when approached (and treated with respect). Breakfast was simple, but well cooked and selected. We had some noisy neighbors who apparently received a talking-to by hotel staff, and we didn't have any problems sleeping after that. Despite the rough-hewn neighborhood making it difficult to find, it was safe, well-located for food, airport, and tourist destinations. Overall, good bang for the buck.

Nice area, convenient to Bol airport, the breakfast is amazing, theres a coffee shop downstairs and near the Abyssina restaurant.

Great experience

The room was amazing for the price... it had amenities I didn't think came with this category of hotel, like a mini-fridge with bottles of water. The ceiling was high and solid and the floor was thick, so the only noise issues came from the hallway and those didn't occur late at night. The breakfast was more varied than I expected, and was included with the room. The hotel is just a couple of minutes away from the airport, and the complimentary shuttle is included, so perfect for an early morning flight. The staff is delightful (although I found that true in much of Ethiopia). A great value.

The steam service should have its own shower and changing room, but understandably space is an issue like most hotels of the city.

Alt i at meget fint, dog manglede der toiletpapir og sengene knirkede så meget at det kunne være svært at sove. Servicen kunne godt have været lidt mere hjælpsom

All around great friendly service.

Friendly, efficient service. Very helpful staff. Comfy bed and decent bathroom. A little noisy due to poorly fitting windows. But good value and would stay again.

空港から近く、無料の送迎があるので、空港を利用する場合とても便利です。夕方以降の到着でも、レストランやバーがあり、利用することができます。私は旅行していませんが、昼間はカフェも隣接しています。ただ、部屋の位置によるかもしれませんが、Wi-Fiが少し弱く繋がりにくかったです。スタッフはとてもフレンドリーでした。

I don't like

We stayed for a week and were generally disappointed by the suite as the photos did not match reality, especially the bathroom. Shuttle service was almost 2 hours late for our airport pick up even though we were confirmed and on schedule at least a week prior. It only arrived after we'd made several phone calls to the hotel asking about the shuttle driver's whereabouts (they kept lying to us by saying it'll arrive in 5 mins). Once we made it to the hotel frustrated and exhausted, we complained to the lady at reception only to be met with an apology and a sad explanation that they had to prioritize picking up other passengers that were supposed to arrive the previous night - which was an insulting explanation for us. Furthermore, the floor our room was on was extremely noisy due to rowdy and disrespectfully loud guests - I was personally awoken between 2-5am for several nights in a row. Staff wasn't helpful in managing their guests. Manager was hard to reach as he hadn't shown up to the reception desk or the hotel during our entire stay. We've made several complaints to the reception staff and they ended up giving us false hope in a potential room change. As part of VIP Access perks, we did not enjoy all the benefits. Facilities are a joke - spa is just a steam room, no massage, unsanitary and tiny gym.
