Hótel Blönduós

We stayed a week in Iceland at a different location each night. This was our most expensive stay and our least favorite. Small room facing the street and no TV while other more desirable rooms appeared empty.

Nice little place, town is cute and has restaurants and gas station. Beautiful ocean view. The food was okay and the room was tiny. No onsite presence overnight but we were happy with the service.

Excellent restaurant on the property. Located on the water.

Nice hotel on the Hund Bay. No elevator or tv. Great restaurant and very neat/historic

This hotel was right by the water with a beautiful view of the sunset each evening. The staff were very friendly and the room was very comfortable and clean. We would stay here again.

This is an older hotel, has stairs if you have luggage, staff was courteous, and the room was small.

Day 7 on ring road. Nice hotel. Great breakfast and staff. Definitely recommend.

The most beautiful hotel in Iceland. A waterfall view from my room. Icelandic horses, sheep and goats on the property. A magnificent spot to relax and enjoy Iceland’s beauty.

We stayed in Apt 6 which has a separate sitting area and bedroom. Cozy with a great view. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was one of the biggest of the 7 hotels we stayed in so far in Iceland.

Great stay, we only stayed one night. Excellent food, extreme friendly staff !!

Stayed in church suite which is fantastic. My wife played the organ in her church as a teen so was playing the old organ which still works in the suite. It’s nice to keep the old church funded and going. Tapestries are nice touch. Generally open concept, and the hotel only rents the suite out to couples but made an exception for us to stay in their as a family. There are 2 twin beds upstairs usually not used. No walls, just a curtain around the bed, so that is why Hotel Blönduós rents the room out to couples usually. As you’ll hear everything upstairs and down. Anyways a fantastic historical stay, well appointed furniture. A nice treat for those who are religious or maybe curious. Breakfast excellent. Anna was fantastic to book and check in with. She accomodared us very well. We wish Hotel Blönduós continued best wishes.

Stay one night , very noisy we have to shut bathroom door to sleep , we can hear next room did some romantic action very clear , hotel will close lock door at 9 pm no reception if you needs to get out from hotel you can use your room key to get in and out main entrance door ( that mean any guess that stay in hotel have same keys to use open main entrance and use at room you stay corrects me if I’m wrong )

There is barely room to move around the beds and no chair or table
