The host, Raymond is very friendly. He came to meet us at the Square and explained in details on every houseware.

Great spot but air conditioning wasn’t working

Our hosts couldn’t have been nicer. They allowed us to drop off our luggage before check in. They asked us if ee wanted water or coffee and cake even though we hadn’t actually checked in. They provided us with a map and advice about local beaches and places to eat. Its a beautiful building in a quiet street with a modern and comfortable large room and en suite bathroom. It was spotlessly clean and the air conditioning worked really well. The two windows and balcony made the room light filled but the wooden shutters when closed ensured a good nights sleep. There was even hand embroidered curtains . The bed was comfortable with good quality linen. Breakfast was good value for money and tasty. The homemade cake was incredible.

We had a fabulous time in Siracuse. Our stay was most pleasant, the owners want nothing less than showing you a pleasant stay in their beautiful and comfortable home.

J'ai séjourné 4 jours dans ce lieu charmant,proche des centres d'interet de la Syracuse moderne et J'ai été très satisfait de cette halte;l'accueil familial est convivial et a repondu à mes demandes touristiques (horaires des transports,lieux de visite ..)A recommander.

Très bon B&B, totalement rénové avec des matériaux de qualité. Les gérants et l'accueil sont super ! Parking gratuit dans la rue. Ortigia à 15 min à pieds. Attention il n'y a rien dans le quartier. Merci aux propriétaires !

B&B Vergilia was a great stay. We were there only one night but felt most welcomed. We arrived in the late afternoon and got settled in to our comfortable and fairly large room. Nice, updated bathrooms as well. We walked down to the old town area just across the bridges and found a great place for dinner. It was about a 20 minute walk and mostly through family neighborhoods. After dinner we strolled back ‘home’ through very quiet streets. We discovered the bus lines the next day and they are very convenient to the B&B. Great nights sleep and a yummy breakfast. Our hosts whipped up eggs and bacon for us besides the traditional sweets. We packed our bags and left them in the reception area when we went out for the day as we didn’t want to leave them in the hot car. Just a 10 minute walk to the Greek ruins. From there we caught a city bus down to the island for a day of sightseeing. Took the bus back to the B&B in the afternoon to head back to Catania. Very welcoming and comfortable B&B!

A perfect place to stay in Siracusa: in a quite neighborhood there’s everything near the flat: in a renovarte building with tasteful decor in a spacious and confortable room: at last, lovely owners and wonderful breakfast.highly recommended

Rent och fint med eget badrum och bra sängar. Trevliga ägare som var väldigt hjälpsamma. De hjälpte till med att kontakta biluthyrningsfirmor och tog reda på priser m.m. Arkeologiska museet ligger inom 5 minuters promenad och Grekiska teatern på 10 minuters avstånd. Restauranger hittas ca 15 minuter bort.

Die Besitzer sind sehr nett, das Zimmer war groß und sauber, Bett sehr bequem. Das Bad klein aber fein. Die Lage ist strategisch gut, man kann direkt vor der Unterkunft parken und dann ist alles zu Fuß zu erreichen.
