nice place to have some rest beside the sea

Bellissimo hotel nel centro di Aktau, comodo per fare un giro sul lungomare e vicino a dei centri commerciali. Colazione molto ricca e gustosa, piscina spaziosa e con lettini a disposizione. La camera molto bella e comoda con vista piscina. Staff molto cordiale. Lo consiglio vivamente!

Nice hotel. Comfy rooms and very helpful staff. The pool is really and well maintained. The breakfast is really horrible, though - just loads of tasteless and anonymous looking meat dishes and bizarre veg concoctions.

Was there on a week trip to see friends and the staff were excellent and very friendly . Nothing was a bother to them . Highly recommend this hotel

Nice hotel with friendly welcoming staff

In general we enjoyed our stay very much: Quiet, good view, great location, very friendly staff, great bed with good linnen, duvet and pillows. What could do with some improvement is the bathroom: it is big but does not have walk in shower, has a very uncomfortable toilet seat and weird lighting. the shampoo , conditioner and shower el where good but only simple hand soap and no other amenities. Breakfast was buffet style: very good. breakfast area not that cosy and the background music was simply disturbing: very bad coice for an early morning and the ceiling speakers are of very poor quality ! .

L’hotel, vicinissimo al lungomare, è meglio delle aspettative: le camere sono molto pulite e, anche se con qualche segno d’usura, ben tenute. Nulla da ridire. Il personale è la sorpresa migliore: cordiale e disponibile. La colazione a buffet è ben fornita anche se, mancando le etichette, può essere problematico scegliere se non si conoscono i prodotti. È possibile ordinare pietanze cucinate al momento. Essendo presente un ristorante è possibile pranzare o cenare in hotel. La scelta è abbastanza varia e di qualità se non si hanno esigenze particolari (es. piatti vegetariani o vegani) ma il servizio, una volta ordinato, è un po’ lento. In conclusione, sono molto soddisfatto e lo consiglierei a che, per turismo o lavoro, dovesse trovarsi ad Aktau.

Good quality / price combination. The hotel was opened in 2005 and then renovated a couple of times. It is getting a bit old but given good location and relatively good price it is a very good value for money. The hotel used to be the best one in the town but since then new hotels have been built in and around the town. Still among the best ones though. Half of the rooms, gym and restaurant used to have a sea view but due to ongoing coastal construction some but not all partially lost that view so double check your room views with the booking team, if that is important for you. They have two swimming pools - the outdoor one with sea view, obviously open only during summer season, and a very small indoor one, no particular view. Overall, good location - the sea, promenades, city centre are either within walking distance or at a short and relatively cheap taxi ride. Most of the rooms are standard, good quality ones for this brand, good furniture, wall to wall carpets, clean and well equipped bathrooms. Housekeeping is at a good standard level. Reception team do their best to observe sanitary rules during the pandemic, all of them were wearing face masks, observed social distancing and provided all necessary information about health and safety rules in the hotel. At buffet breakfast they supply face masks and plastic gloves, which is a good practice during the pandemic. Overall, a good hotel for business and short term travellers with a good location and services.

The beat and only option in Aktau - you are right in the center of the city and with a view of the Caspian Sea

The staff at this hotel were AMAZING! They took such great care of us. The breakfast was also very delicious. The room wasn't the most comfortable - the bed was hard and the A/C in the bedroom didn't work. The location is great.

I stayed at the Renaissance Aktau for just one night as we had been out in Mangistau Oblast hiking with friends for a couple of days and were flying out the next day. It was a very good choice as it is very close to the sea and within easy walking distance of restaurants and things to see. The rooms we had were very clean and comfortable and the on-site restaurant allowed us to eat there even though they had to close soon afterward we sat down due to COVID restrictions. The staff both in the hotel and restaurant were great and very helpful to us. I can definitely recommend this hotel for anyone who just needs a place in the city for a short time with no hassles and easy walks to much of the city.

Good centralised location with several restaurants nearby as well as the beach. We were very fortunate to be upgraded to a junior suite which helped a little As to the coronavirus both the inside out outside pools were closed and was the main reason for choosing this particular hotel. Rooms are slightly outdated though very comfortable. Having not stayed in the other hotels in Aktau it is hard to comment or critics on the standard of rooms when comparing To other hotels but from Discussions had it appears is be across the board in Kazakhstan. Refreshment prices were very reasonable compared to outside locations. I would however recommend staying at the hotel with the friendly staff and the friendly ambiance the staff give

Good location of the hotel, nice rooms and breakfast. Sauna and the indoor pool with the gym are far from 5 star hotel. Personnel is not respectful when it comes to Kazakhstan citizens. They are nice only with foreigners. I wanted to extend my stay for half a day. Half day in this hotel is until 18:00. The girl on the reception was not happy that I didn’t agree with it, and was very rude.
