El hotel estaba en renovación, hubiera sido bueno que nos hubieran avisado al reservar, ya que al llegar nos dijeron que nos hacían devolución pero pues ya estaba ahí, como iba a buscar un hotel en la noche con mi esposa embarazada de 7 meses? 😅 en general estuvo limpio el lugar, poco ruido por reparaciones, y cuando llegamos el baño de la habitación tiraba agua, nos cambiaron amablemente de cuarto pero el otro no cerraba la puerta del baño y ya mejor ni lo reporte…. Y el restaurante no nos gustó,, de las 5 noches nomas desayunamos el primer día y ya no volvimos :( aparte que por el temblor nos quedamos sin luz un día y sin internet 3 días, como que estábamos bien salados

El hotel no está en condiciones de hospedar personas. Está en remodelación y avisan hasta que se hace el check in. Estéticamente se ve bien el hotel, pero no cumple con las funciones básicas de hospedaje en el lugar.

Hotel room had leak in bathroom sink. No TV as advertised and there was construction going on at all times of day. Hotel is next to two noisy bars that stayed open until 2am and played loud music. Horrible stay. Would not recommend at all and request some type of credit as the advertising for this hotel was inauthentic.

Nice area

The room was clean, updated and comfortable. The staff were excellent! Breakfast was great every morning and staff personalized each meal to our liking. The hotel location was perfect. Very close to many restaurants, bars and coffee shops. The staff really makes María Condesa special. I will certainly stay there again without hesitation!

Upon arrival on December 8 we discovered the hotel was undergoing a renovation. The tile flooring outside our room and on every floor of the hotel was being replaced. The workers arrived around 8am and worked until 7pm. When we returned on the third evening the floor of our room and all the surfaces was covered in dust from the sawing and sanding and in the hallway. Contacted Expedia to get our reservation cancelled so we could move to another hotel. The Expedia agent only offered a $55 credit. Called back the next morning and Expedia finally agreed to a $250 credit and booked us in another hotel. Even though Expedia did provide some relief they shouldn’t be booking people into this hotel until the renovation is completed. The good sized room had been remodeled with a nice spacious bathroom. The cooked to order breakfast provided in the rooftop terrace was tasty and the gentleman who appeared to be the manager was pleasant but he was the only staff we encountered who spoke English. He was apologetic about the remodeling but after three days we weren’t willing to put up with the noise and dust and moved to another hotel.

Agendamos desde mayo, llegamos de noche y nos nos comunicaron que estaban en remodelación. Tuvimos que salirnos del hotel porque están remodelando las habitaciones, hay mucho polvo tanto afuera en el pasillo como dentro de la habitación. La recepcionista nos mintió diciéndonos que el ruido sería desde las 10 am y en realidad los martillazos y música iniciaron desde las 7:30 am. Nos habían recomendado el lugar y está totalmente con cero posibilidades de tener clientes.

To bien. Solamente no hubo agua el último día.

People were very kind. However, they were doing major construction work, which made my stay less than ideal. There was a lot of noise during the day until 8pm and the construction workers started in the morning. This, sleeping late wasn’t an option. That kind of construction work should be disclosed up front with guests. As a guest, I should have been give the option to stay or not given the loud construction work being done. Breakfast was great.

Great staff

Our stay exceeded expectations. Clean, safe neighborhood, quiet and value for money. Great walking neighborhood. Easy to get the places we wanted to visit. Breakfast and Pedro were a great bonus.

I loved the location. Double paned windows meant you could not hear the noise from outside. You could hear the hallway noise since the doors are not sealed well. Comfortable bed, good pillows, great water pressure although the bathroom can be smelly from the pipes. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was freshly made and a good start to the day. There are Nespresso machines in the room. We did have to ask to have a corkscrew and hairdryer brought to the room. Shampoo, body wash, and conditioner were all good quality.

I had high hopes considering the listing and photos and to get there after check in to find out my room wasn’t ready. When it was finally ready, it was under construction zone and remodeling which made for a lot of drilling and unsafe, tools, and furniture located in the hallways of the hotel. They had a room for me on the first floor (night 1) , but told me I had to move to the second floor for the remaining days of my trip. I had to tell staff to stop drilling in the evening to try and get rest and to be quiet. The Chef, who was a really nice gentleman apologized to me numerous times who was also running the front desk due to staff shortage. He mentioned they were in the process of remodeling it and rooms weren’t available as they were doing construction and taking things out and lots of sawing. There is two restaurants downstairs so you will hear music and people and the crowds so it can be loud at times. I showed The Chef the shower door, which did not close as the maintenance repair guys put the door on backwards so the shower door wouldn’t close while taking a shower making it a puddle of water once stepped out.

This hotel is an outright scam. It is absolutely not a four-star property! At best, it barely reaches one and a half. Everything is run-down: the bathrooms have mold, the ceilings are peeling from humidity, and the furniture looks like it was salvaged from a storage room. The so-called “included breakfast” was honestly the worst food I’ve had in CDMX; you’d get better chilaquiles at a 7-Eleven. The whole experience felt like being robbed. Stay far away from this place.

La habitación estaba limpia.

Amé hospedarme aquí. La ubicación es muy buena en una calle super tranquila. La habitacion de excelente tamaño y la cama muy muy comoda. El desayuno incluido fue un super plus y todo el staff muy amable. Espero volver una vez que terminen de remodelar, aunque los trabajos no me molestaron para nada.

The room was clean and spacious, the staff was friendly, and the daily breakfast was perfect!
