Le Chateau Ocean Villas

A good clean room in a great location for walking to most things. The host, Fred, was very helpfull. I would not recommend it for any light sleepers due to the barking dogs next door and traffic on the nearby main road.

Fred was great. We enjoyed the room and the location (close to beach and bus stop).

Excellent home away from home. The host was very kind and went out of his way to make me happy. It is near the water, but not beachfront. We can walk to the casino and all the restaurants are close by. It is quiet without all the frills. There are no obnoxious tourists walking around and making noise with their children.Great for couples and single travelers who want to enjoy Aruba at their own pace.

The host Fred was great. He meet us when we arrived and great communication. Fred helped us out whenever we needed something or had a question. Great location , short walk to surfside beach and main bus terminal if you wanted to see the Island . The room was clean and kitchen had almost everything we needed. Would recommend this place if you are wanting to stay in Oranjestad.

Room needed to detailed,had not been painted in many years. Appliances and utensils needed to be updated,replaced.when a toilet flushed in the nuilding the sink bubblef

Fred is a wonderful host! We are SO glad we chose to stay here. First, everything was very clean. The bed linens and towels were nice and soft. The location was perfect for us. There are two new air conditioners. They felt amazing after a hot afternoon at the beach! We left them off while we were out but the place stayed cool and the new air conditioners really cranked the cold air. The shower is large and there's a new rain shower head and wand. Water pressure was very good. Shower was warm, not hot, but it also didn't need to be hot. You're in the tropics! There's a nice, big closet for all our luggage. The bedroom had blinds and blackout curtains. It was so quiet! No noise from neighbors above or beside. My favorite thing about Le Chateau was the location. It was very walkable to nearby restaurants and beaches. After we took the taxi from the airport we never used a car again, we were even able to walk to the cruise ship terminal to board our boat. The location was very convenient. It's just a couple houses off the main street but it was VERY VERY quiet, which I really appreciated. We felt very safe and secure. The neighborhood was quiet and surrounded by other nice homes. We felt safe walking at night, too. Added bonus that wasn't in the listing...a bidet and an ice maker! Fred also beach towels and chairs, too. For the price, it can't be beat. It's not a luxury resort but it's in a great location, it's clean, safe, and has all the basics and then some!

Fred was sooooo sweet and nice!!!! Was very friendly, attentive and informative! We stayed upstairs in the apartment and it was very well equipped for us to cook while we were there. Plenty of towels. Also had soda, a bottle of wine and fresh water ready for us when we got there. Great location to walk down to the port area where there is shopping, food and entertainment. It was less than a 10 minute walk. Beeches in very close proximity with water access and perfect sunset views right outside in the waterfront. Communicated through what’s up and he was very prompt with getting back to us during our stay. When we go back to Aruba, Fred will be the one we reach out to when going. Thank you so much again, Fred! You made my first trip to Aruba very welcoming!!!!!!! See you soon!!!

Very courteous staff, the room was very spacious and clean too. In addition to that, great location !

The villa was a short ride from the airport. Our host met us at the entrance and took us to our place. He explained everything we needed to know about the place. He would respond quickly on What’s App any time we had a question. The bed was very comfy, the shower had good water pressure and it was very clean, with the ocean just across the street. One of our favourite restaurants was only 100 setups from the villa. We loved the fact that we could drink water right from the tap! The whole island drinks desalinated water from the ocean. Less plastic water bottles!! He booked our taxi for us on our last day to get back to the airport. We truly loved Aruba and would recommend you stay with Fred!!

This property is a lovely colonial house that is located just off of the ocean in a very safe neighbourhood. The rooms were spacious and we were very comfortable during our stay. We received a very warm welcome and if there was anything that we needed as we had to do was ask. I would absolutely recommend this property, you will have a great experience!

Excellent location walking distance away from major shopping and dining location.

Thank goodness for our host Fred (who we now lovingly call uncle fred from Aruba lol) He let us check in within 15 minutes of booking, greeted us at the gate, gave us the run down of everything, and was available for any questions or concerns (which there were no concerns) that we had. Such a well kept place within walking distance to food and shopping. We truly felt home here! Bed was comfy, sheets were soft and clean, pillows were perfect and, really I just can’t say enough good things about this place. You won’t regret your stay here! We only got to stay 4 days (we had a little misfortune on the first 4 days of our 8 day vaca), and we hope/plan to stay here on our return visit to Aruba. Thank you again Uncle Fred!
