Mercure Glasgow City Hotel

This is a very nice hotel. It is not the most modern facility but it is very clean. I had a lovely stay. The staff are so friendly and are very willing to help with anything. My only notice was there was no electric outlets by the head of the bed, so anyone using a BIPAP/CPAP machine would need a long extension cord. Maybe that can be provided. The bathroom was spotless. I used the plastic zip bag that was for extra pillows as a container for some clothes, instead of keeping some clothes in my case and having to open it frequently. A dresser with drawer space would be better, but this was a minor inconvenience. I had a very quiet room on the 6th floor. I would definately return to this hotel. The location is perfect and very convenient to everything you need. Also the Nespresso coffee machine and kettle were provided. That was sweet indeed. Also breakfast was available for a very reasonable fee which I did not use, as I don’t eat breakfast usually. The biggest compliment again, goes to all the staff. Thank you for making my stay so pleasant.

Great stay at the mercure and location excellent... Breakfast amazing and plenty to chose from... Coffee machine went out of order but staff were more than pleased to make one for you

Centrally located and handy for shops, restaurants and transport. Easy access via underground to various attractions. The site is fairly cramped but well organised and breakfast was excellent.
