If you are looking for a hotel nearby the national park, look no further as this place is perfect You will be sunbathing watching crocodiles in the lake(it’s safe, don’t worry!!) admiring the sunset with the buffaloes and keep hoping an elephant will pop in. The rooms are spectacular,spacious and very very clean. The buffet (both breakfast and dinner) is yummy and with a variety I haven’t seen before. But the highlight of this hotel is the staff. We had the best people looking after us and this was the best thing!

Our stay at Cinnamon Wild Yala was absolutely wonderful! The resort itself is incredibly luxurious, with beautiful surroundings that make you feel completely relaxed. We loved the little wildlife moments—monkeys and chipmunks even wandered right outside our room, which made the experience feel very special. The food was buffet style with a huge variety of choices, and every meal was delicious. From breakfast to dinner, there was something for everyone, and the quality was consistently impressive. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Every single person we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to be helpful. They made us feel comfortable and ensured our stay was seamless from start to finish.

Unsere fünf Tage im Cinnamon Wild waren wundervoll und wir genossen die Zeit in vollen Zügen! Wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben und werden in Zukunft bestimmt wieder dieses Hotel buchen. Es ist sehr in die Natur eingebunden und man fühlte sich als wäre man in der Wildnis, ist dank des Personals aber trotzdem stets Sicher unterwegs! Das Zimmer 135 ist super, erhöht mit Meerblick und Dilhara hat stets für Ordnung gesorgt, das Wasser aufgefüllt und tolle Tücherskulpturen gemacht die uns täglich Freude verbreitete. Zum Nationalpark waren es ca. 15min. Die Safaris waren wundervoll, wir sahen viele Vögel, Elefantenherden mit Baby's den Leoparden und vieles mehr! Dank Saman konnten wir in der Nähe des Hotels spazieren gehen und haben Krokodiele, Vogelnester und viele Tierspuren beobachten können, danke dafür! Sameera, Thamoth, seine Freundin und Nilushka haben uns die Tage stets mit ihrer Fürsorge, Freundlichkeit und ihrem Humor versüsst. Ein weiteres Highlite war unser Special Dinner, welches für uns organisiert wurde. Wir können das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen und Danken für die unvergesslichen Ferien im wunderschönen SriLanka

It is ideally located close to the national park with a lovely on-site lagoon filled with birds, water buffalo and crocodiles (all at a safe distance). The staff is great but be aware that given there are no barriers between you and the national park, they have to escort you to and from your room for safety once it gets dark. It is not as luxurious as I expected given the photographs and it is a bit outside of the nearby town so once you are there, it isn't easy to get back and forth - especially after dark when the animals are roaming. Quite suitable for a romantic couples getaway and just 1 or 2 nights, given limited things to do on site outside of the main pool area.

Godt hotel, men det er slidt. Der mangler fliser i poolen - nogle er faldet af ned i poolen, mens andre har manglet et stykke tid. Finish på værelserne er heller ikke god længere. Det meste trænger til en update. Værelserne er ikke store, og der er reelt ikke plads til en familie på 4. Vi fik dog en ekstra seng ind i værelset, og så gik det. Personalet er søde og meget høflige. De var altid parate til at hjælpe. Generelt mangler der dog mere information om, hvad man kan lave på hotellet, for der er intet i området omkring hotellet. Der var ingen information, og det ville have hjulpet os.

Spent 2 amazing nights here for safari tours situated right outside the national park. The hotel staff and location is amazing. The cabanas are beautiful and air conditioned. We even had elephants in the lagoon outside our room one night. As additional the safaris are excellent, the park is dripping with wildlife, we booked directly from yalla national park but the hotel does similar tours do a full day as 1/2 is not enough.

Wonderful location in the national reserve with wild animals in the property. Shame they didn’t have star gazing on offer as I was looking forward to that. The staff are friendly and there is a sumptuous buffet if you are half board.

They accommodated our room request for close rooms (we had 2) and gave us a close location to reception/dining, for my mom who has mobility issues. Some construction going on near the water front. Would be nice to build up the area around the water. Pool area was nice.

The hotel is well placed for the National Park and has many animals in and around the property, such as elephants, crocodiles, monkeys, birds etc. The rooms are excellent but the rest of the property is fairly basic. Food OK, Pool area OK. Sun loungers poor. Reception area poor. We took a morning Safari, which was good but no better than that. DO NOT go on a Safari if you suffer from back or neck issues. It is incredibly bouncy in the car. The beach is wild and untamed. Cinnamon Wild Yala was good but I expected better and especially as the price is high.

The rooms were super cool and like tiny houses in the trees. The staff are so gracious and professional and want to make your stay wonderful. Sameera was a standout and friendly and helpful as all of the staff were. I highly recommend this place.

Unsere fünf Tage im Cinnamon Wild waren wundervoll und wir genossen die Zeit in vollen Zügen! Wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben und werden in Zukunft bestimmt wieder dieses Hotel buchen. Es ist sehr in die Natur eingebunden und man fühlte sich als wäre man in der Wildnis, ist dank des Personals aber trotzdem stets Sicher unterwegs! Das Zimmer 135 ist super, erhöht mit Meerblick und Dilhara hat stets für Ordnung gesorgt, das Wasser aufgefüllt und tolle Tücherskulpturen gemacht die uns täglich Freude verbreitete. Zum Nationalpark waren es ca. 15min. Die Safaris waren wundervoll, wir sahen viele Vögel, Elefantenherden mit Baby's den Leoparden und vieles mehr! Dank Saman konnten wir in der Nähe des Hotels spazieren gehen und haben Krokodiele, Vogelnester und viele Tierspuren beobachten können, danke dafür! Sameera, Thamoth, seine Freundin und Nilushka haben uns die Tage stets mit ihrer Fürsorge, Freundlichkeit und ihrem Humor versüsst. Ein weiteres Highlite war unser Special Dinner, welches für uns organisiert wurde. Wir können das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen und Danken für die unvergesslichen Ferien im wunderschönen SriLanka

Godt hotel, men det er slidt. Der mangler fliser i poolen - nogle er faldet af ned i poolen, mens andre har manglet et stykke tid. Finish på værelserne er heller ikke god længere. Det meste trænger til en update. Værelserne er ikke store, og der er reelt ikke plads til en familie på 4. Vi fik dog en ekstra seng ind i værelset, og så gik det. Personalet er søde og meget høflige. De var altid parate til at hjælpe. Generelt mangler der dog mere information om, hvad man kan lave på hotellet, for der er intet i området omkring hotellet. Der var ingen information, og det ville have hjulpet os.

Spent 2 amazing nights here for safari tours situated right outside the national park. The hotel staff and location is amazing. The cabanas are beautiful and air conditioned. We even had elephants in the lagoon outside our room one night. As additional the safaris are excellent, the park is dripping with wildlife, we booked directly from yalla national park but the hotel does similar tours do a full day as 1/2 is not enough.

Wonderful location in the national reserve with wild animals in the property. Shame they didn’t have star gazing on offer as I was looking forward to that. The staff are friendly and there is a sumptuous buffet if you are half board.

They accommodated our room request for close rooms (we had 2) and gave us a close location to reception/dining, for my mom who has mobility issues. Some construction going on near the water front. Would be nice to build up the area around the water. Pool area was nice.

The hotel is well placed for the National Park and has many animals in and around the property, such as elephants, crocodiles, monkeys, birds etc. The rooms are excellent but the rest of the property is fairly basic. Food OK, Pool area OK. Sun loungers poor. Reception area poor. We took a morning Safari, which was good but no better than that. DO NOT go on a Safari if you suffer from back or neck issues. It is incredibly bouncy in the car. The beach is wild and untamed. Cinnamon Wild Yala was good but I expected better and especially as the price is high.

The rooms were super cool and like tiny houses in the trees. The staff are so gracious and professional and want to make your stay wonderful. Sameera was a standout and friendly and helpful as all of the staff were. I highly recommend this place.
