Scandic Kiruna

Fint hotell. Ikke det beste renholdet, men greit nok. Minus at ikke vindu kunne åpnes. Varmt på rommet selv om vi skrudde ned temperaturen.

Super dårlig rengøring. Få valgmuligheder i restauranten, burger eller salat. Uduelige reception, svarede ikke på opkaldene før klokken 13.30. Det er anden gang med dårlig rengøring og kedelig mad. Og sidste gang.

Modernt och snyggt hotell med väldigt trevlig och välkomnande personal. Rena och fräscha rum. Överlag väldigt trevligt.

This hotel is a little pricey but it is convenient with the whole moving the town thing. There isn’t much to do in Kiruna outside of the tours/activities.

Friendly helpful staff. Good dinner in hotel restaurant. Nice breakfast buffet. Spacious attractive lobby. Clean room with most of the things one expects. The free shuttle from the train station stopped across the street from the hotel.

It is a short taxi ride from the Kiruna airport to the Scandia Kiruna Hotel. Once there, I was delighted to find that it was a pleasant walk to a number of shops...groceries, clothing, personal care, etc. The facility, itself, is very clean. The staff is welcoming. Very nice stay!

Die Fenster lassen sich nicht öffnen und die Klimaanlage lässt sich nicht regulieren, dadurch ist es stickig in den Zimmern. Dem Personal ist das Problem bekannt können aber nichts daran ändern. Der Parkplatz auf der anderen Straßenseite ist im Winter sehr glatt, ein Zugang vom Fußweg gibt es nicht. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Restaurangen borde styra upp diskplockningen från borden så att man kan sitta där och vänta på mat i stållet för att stå i lång kö för att få bord.

Wonderful stay. Clean, comfortable room. Restaurant was great. We particularly loved the sauna overlooking the city. Parking was a little hard to figure out - it's across the street, but takes a little to figure out. Also seems like too much light pollution in the immediate area to see the northern lights. Overall pleasant stay.

Wonderful hotel with high quality services and amenities. - Sleek decor and comfortable lobby lounge, restaurant and rooftop skybar - Good food in the restaurant though slightly limited vegetarian/pescetarian options for lunch and dinner - Great room/bathroom amenities, no cupboard space but reasonable hanging space and good sized room make up for this - Great gym with full set of cardio and weight training equipment (kettlebells, dumbbells, mats etc) - Awesome sauna that is easily accessible with fantastic city views - Friendly and professional staff, helpful at all points during our stay - Snacks and amenities on sale at reception, also free coffee behind the reception desk - Live aurora forecast at reception with real time meteorological data - Tour agency, restaurants, library, cinema, museum just around the corner, bus stop across the street and small shopping centre within 5 minute walk Highly recommended, feels like a 5 star hotel

Med Scandic ved man næsten altid hvad man får. Sød og god betjening hele vejen igennem. Måtte gerne have ligget tættere på centrum, men alt var trods tilgængelig omkring dig.

Mycket fint hotell. Bra restaurang och fin skybar. Dock var frukostpåsen man får om man åker tidigt väldigt tråkig. Torrt fryst formfranska. Kunde varit mycket bättre med små medel. Överlag jättefint hotell.

Front desk employees were simply outstanding. We have a large family and visited at a busy time and they alerted us to arranging for taxis several days in advance and then calling to make the reservations for us. Brand new hotel. Skybar has great views. Breakfast buffet is excellent.

Trevligt bemötande. Enkelt att boka. Fick även tillgång till rummet före utsatt tid. Minus för restaurangen som inte hade priser på middags mat utsatt i Menyn. Valde därför annan restaurang. God frukost dock. Bra läge och busshållplats till flyget.

Camera pulita e dotata del necessario. Buona posizione. Banco della reception sempre troppo affollato con poco personale, per cui anche per chiedere un'informazione rapida stai in coda molti minuti. È saltata la luce su un intero piano per un pomeriggio intero

The best thing about the hotel was the room that was nice and clean. The rest of the hotel was a bit disappointing. From looking at the pictures, I was looking forward to chilling in front of the fireplace with a hot chocolate in the afternoon or starting the day in the sauna. The reality is that the lobby is quite busy with people checking in all the time. Moreover, there is no fire in the fireplace, and the bar was out of cream and hot chocolate. The sauna was beautiful, but doesn’t open until 15.00 and is gender separated. Nice view from the skybar, but the vibe is quite tacky from drinks to selection of pop remixes.
