Location superb for both train and cable car. Breakfast perfect offering and great customer care. Rooms a bit dated but spacious and well equipped. Amazing views too.

Great stay! All the staff were friendly. Nice view. My only complaint it was far too warm in the room and too hard to sleep with the down comforters. Also the hot tub/jacuzzi lukewarm. Breakfast was fantastic.

Wengen is a wonderful home base for exploring the area, you are closer to Jungfrau to get there early before the crowds. We loved the nearby restaurants. The Mannlichen gondola is incredible, a must-do when staying in Wengen. The staff were professional and the breakfast was superb. Our bed was quite comfortable. The hotel is just across from the train station, so an easy walk. We would stay there again.

Die Einzelzimmer sind in einem sehr schlechten Zustand und entsprechen dem Preis Leistungs Verhältnis überhaupt nicht mehr. Die Möbel passen nicht zusammen, die Vorhänge sind sehr alt, Schmutzig und zerrissen. Auch das Mobiliar auf dem Balkon ist alt und schmutzig. Badewanne ist zum Duschen oder Baden nur für jüngere Personen wirklich geeignet für ältere ist es sehr mühsam zum ein und aussteigen. Auch sind die Deutschkenntnisse des Personals miserabel und alle wollen nur Englisch sprechen und das mitten in der Schweiz im Berner Oberland. Wirklich gut ist die Lage und das Wellness dieses Hotels sonst empfehle ich als Single Reisender sich ein anderes Hotel zu suchen. Wer Erholung sucht sollte sich bewusst sein das dass Hotel sehr laut ist da es ein älteres Haus ist.

Das Personal beim Empfang und vom Frühstücksservice waren wirklich sehr freundlich. Den Spa-/Fitnessbereich habe ich nicht genutzt, doch sicherlich grundsätzlich eine tolle Option, was die Unterkunft zusätzlich intern anbietet. Das Einzelzimmer, war leider recht hellhörig, so dass es sich anhörte, als sei jemand bei mir im Bad. Finde ich für ein 4 Sterne Hotel nicht ganz angemessen und empfand es eher auf ein 2/3 Sterneniveau. Auch das Interior des Badezimmers wirkte an der einen oder anderen Stelle als bräuchte es etwas Pflege. Ansonsten war das Zimmer angenehm, das Bett bequem. Die Auswahl beim Frühstücksbuffet habe ich in anderen 4 Sternehotels anders erlebt. Ansonsten Toplage in über 1.200 Hm und eine super Erreichbarkeit von der Wengenbahn aus. Ein Supermarkt auch gleich beim Hotel.

I stayed eight nights at this hotel in a classic Jungfrau view room. The hotel is a few minute flat walk from the train station which is perfect. The room also had an amazing view and nice balcony with a view which I ate several picnic dinners. Wengen was a really nice place to stay. The hotel staff was nice, the breakfast was great (especially the omelets) ,and it was fantastic to have a laundromat on site. A wash and dry was 10 CHF. The juzzucies and spa sun room was amazing after a day hiking. This is an old hotel, built in 1893. My bathroom was not renovated in grey as the pictures show. They also don’t offer massage services in the summer. My room was clean and nice sized, but there were some quirks. For example, the fridge door didn’t shut properly. I asked for it to be looked at and the maintenance person showed me how to jiggle it closed. Also my sink did not drain properly and the toilet had to be pumped to work. My shower worked great and it was nice to have a tub, robe, and slippers. I wouldn’t say my room was a 4 star room (due to the maintenance issues) but I would stay here again for the price I paid $200-250/night because of the fantastic location and view, and nice staff.

Nothing better than walking to your hotel from train, waking up in morning and viewing mountains from your balcony. This hotel was a good discovery. Glad we picked it. Hotel rooms (we took a suite) were spacious and could accommodate our family of 5. SPA is awesome. Breakfast was good and there were many food options just in walking distance of this hotel.

Traditionsreiches Hotel in zentraler Lage direkt am Bahnhof und Gondel. Etwas Renovierungsrückstand (in unserem Zimmer waren der Toilettendeckel und Duschkopf bzw. -Halterung nicht okay, außerdem ist das Wasser schlecht abgeflossen). Das Zimmer war für drei Personen (Doppelbett plus Zustellbett) etwas zu klein.

Plus: Ideal location. Just a throw away from Wengen railway station. We booked Jungfrau view apartment. A well equipped apartment with all necessary utensils in the kitchen. Two fully furnished bedrooms and convertable sofa in living room. Adequate fans. We loved the stay. Coop stores in the ground floor for shopping. To improve: Just on the day of check in, we were told that hotel staff doesnt clean the apartment because it's not attached to hotel.No replacement towels. Breakfast is super expensive for its price

They should clearly post notices at various locations on the property stating that the SPA and JACUZZI facilities are available only until 9:00 PM. Additionally, also indicate that guests must notify the lobby at least 30 minutes in advance if they wish to use the SPA. What a joke!

A estadia foi incrivel. Quarto confortavel, com varanda e frigobar. Nao tem ar condicionado, apenas 1 ventilador. Banheiro grande com banheiro e 2 pias. A estrutura do hotel é otima, com SPA, 2 jacuzzis, academia e sinuca. Cafe da manhã sensacional. Exatamente em frente a estacao do trem. Mas a cidade possui pontos de atenção: 1. Tudo fecha muito cedo, em torno de 20h; 2. Após esse horario a cidade fica vazia; 3. Não é possivel acessar de carro, apenas de trem que custa 7,40 CFH a viagem 4. O estacionamento da estação de trem de Lauterbrunnen possui um preço bem acessível
