ibis Styles Zurich City Center

Attente très longue pour le Check in. Chambre très petite, on peut à peine circuler autour du lit. Nous avions froid et sommes allés à la réception pour demander une couverture, on nous a dit on n’a pas de couverture, juste un drap supplémentaire. Mauvaise insonorisation. Prestations pas digne d’un 4 étoiles. La seule chose positive est la situation.

The rooms were not clean and air conditioner, though not working had water leaking throughout night. I told the staff twice but they did not care at all. The rooms were super cramped.

Cheap city centre hotel so not expecting the Ritz. Rooms could do with a bit of tlc and lighting is horrible.

A fine budget hotel in Zurich, close to the main station.

Only two towels. No drinking water. NO PHONE! Not good value for the money. Staff not friendly.

What I did not like in the hotel was there was a leaking coming from the ceiling, I mentioned it to the staff and they said they will look at it but in the next morning while using the mirror, water leaking in our head and clothes. There are many food choices in the morning. Staff were friendly and helpful. It would be nice if the hotel Has air conditioner.

En general el alojamiento ha sido perfecto, pero tuve un pequeño percance que confieso no haber reclamado, al llegar para hacer el check in y siendo nuestra primera vez en Suiza, teníamos dudas sobre el enchufe eléctrico de este país, nos habían dicho que era diferente. Le preguntamos a la chica que hizo nuestro registro de entrada, comentando claramente tener enchufes europeos y sí necesitaríamos otro en el hotel para cargar nuestros teléfonos, a lo que ella respondió: SI! Y lo vendemos, por 19 francos, por miedo a quedarnos sin batería acabé comprándolo! Al llegar a la habitación, procedo a abrir la caja del enchufe y la rompí a un lado para extraerlo y justo en ese momento mi hija me dice, pero mamá, el cuarto tiene los enchufes europeos 😅! Me sentí engañada por la empleada de registro que me indujo a al necesidad de hacer ese gasto… no lo reclamé porque ya había roto la caja. Por favor no caigan en esto! De resto el hotel está bien!

Loved the location. So easy to get to from city center. However we were very disappointed there was no air conditioning in the room. Made for some tough nights sleeping.

We were so pleasantly surprised by the amenities at Ibis Styles City Center Zurich. There is a great 24 hour "convenience" store in the lobby for any extras you need food or otherwise. The check-was seamless and although we arrived early, Aldo at the front desk was able to get us into our room right away without an additional early check-in charge we found so irritating at other facilities. There is an amazing restaurant/bar right off the lobby, with stunning decor and a great food choice from breakfast through dinner. Breakfast is NOT included, but we didn't expect it to be. We ate in the restaurant twice for dinner and loved the service from Kersten and Eleonora, who went above and beyond. There is a very adequate fitness center with up to date equipment that has all "functions" working. Great little sauna, as well, all free to persons staying at the hotel. The location was within easy walking distance of the train station, and access to walks along the river in downtown Zurich. The room was comfortable (great shower) and had a very appealing modern decor, but the air circulation wasn't great for the air conditioning (we stayed during an extremely hot time). When we mentioned it at the desk, Aldo (again - great guy), grabbed us two fans for the room and that did the trick to keep things circulation. Window-door does open and has with motorized blinds but we kept the room closed to conserve the cool air. I would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend.
