Maya Caprice Boutique Hotel & Spa

Amazing small cosy hotel, be sure to book mountain side views as it is one of the best views in the area! Breakfast was yummy with fresh eggs to order. Staff lovely and polite. Spa is included which is a great touch, the hot tub was amazing facing the mountains and one of the main reasons I booked this place, although it was cold a couple of nights, they had just had a new and larger hot tub installed so were some teething issues I think, but they made sure it was warm when asked in advance. Dinner was lovely, especially the pizza -so delicious. Amazing value for money hotel!

The most amazing views. 2 bedroom/ 1 bath accommodations were perfect for our trip. Restaurant was excellent. Conveniently located near train and little town. Staff was excellent. Spa service was excellent. Overall great hotel & stay !!!

You are only paying for the beautiful view of Wengen and the convenience of being nearby the train station. However, the place is old, and there are few options for relaxing. The spa has only the sauna and showers and an open door jacuzzi which is small and the "gym" was only some dumbbells and a lonely walking machine not very complete. The breakfast was OK but lacked other options besides just only scrambled/fried eggs. I think for the price I paid I was expecting something else besides the view.

Tivemos uma excelente experiência na acomodação! Os quartos são amplos e bem bonitos e as vistas são de perder o folego. É super próximo da estação de trem (não teria como ser mais próximo, 1 ou 2 minutos caminhando), os atendentes são super simpáticos. O restaurante do hotel é excepcional e os preços médios iguais ao de qualquer bom restaurante na região dos alpes. Estávamos com duas crianças pequenas e foi tudo ótimo.

You can’t beat the panoramic view of the Swiss alps. We had the suite room and it’s perfect room. The sauna and spa was superb.Kudos to Daniel, he is very helpful.All the staff from the dining area are good. Thank you we’re coming back😍

We had a great stay at Maya Caprice. Lodging and view were terrific. We really enjoyed the outstanding food served at the hotel. Particularly strong was the friendly service specifically from Sonia. I would highly recommend the Maya Caprice to all who are traveling to the Wengen area.

The front desk staff were incredibly helpful. The wait staff in the restaurant were extremely attentive and accommodating.

Bellissima struttura con una fantastica vista sulle montagne. Camera ampia spaziosa e molto ben arredata. Hotel de charme con centro benessere e piscina esterna con idromassaggio e vista impareggiabile!! Assolutamente consigliato!!!

Our room at the Maya Caprice looked over the Lauterbrunnen valley and the Swiss Alps. It was stunning. To add to that, the room was large, well stocked and very comfortable. We enjoyed the food in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. The staff is very kind and helpful. We can’t wait to go back. Well surpassed our expectations.

Beautiful hotel with probably the best view in Wengen. Wonderful amenities (hot tub, gym, & sauna), breakfast included with stunning panoramic views of Lauterbrunnen Valley & Jungfrau. Clean and beautiful rooms.

Maya Caprice Boutique Hotel and Spa: Mountain View is unreal!!! I haven’t seen anything like it. The food at the hotel restaurant is equally impressive. Note: Book a room with a Mountain View. This has become our favorite hotel base in the Jungfrau Region in Switzerland.

Pros: Incredible views Good breakfast Very very close to train station and town Cons: The jacuzzi in the spa is tiny. No AC in room as seems to be the norm in Swiss hotels. Opening the window would have been fine to let a cool breeze in BUT there was no net on the windows to keep bugs out!! Please put at least One net on one window to allow for sleeping with window open!

We stayed at this property for two nights at one of their higher priced suite, and it was our first time in Wengen. The location of this hotel is unbeatable as it is probably the closest distance to the train station. The staff were not that friendly, kind of disinterested about their guests. The view was also breathtaking. During one late afternoon, there was a huge thunderstorm and took out all the power in town. When we opened our balcony door to sit outside, an insulation panel/door that was not bolted shut blew open and insulation materials were everywhere in the room where I slept. We told the front desk people and they came and put the insulation stuff back in and close the panel. They cleaned a bit of the floor. However, there was insulation dust everywhere in the room, and only one light worked in that living room area. The dust was in my bedding, my personal items, which caused me itchiness even in my sleep. We asked for some compensation for the uninhabitable night. It was utterly turned down with a big No. Customer service is not their strongest suit. Before this incident, I was actually going to refer my friends in the states to book this place. Now I doubt I would ever recommend this property. If you only want the location with the bare minimum customer service, then go for it. We changed to a different hotel in town, and it was like a day and night difference. We got such warm welcome and so much helpful information in just the first 5 minutes.
