Pullman Phuket Panwa Beach Resort

Great value for money for a luxury resort in Phuket. The 2 infinity pools, pool bar and private beach were the highlights. Service and staff was outstanding. The room itself and hotel grounds were well maintained for a 20 year old property but its age did not go unnoticed. It is secluded and quiet, best to rent a car for accessibility to old town and the rest of the island. Plenty of parking on site

We are from New Zealsnd,stayed here July 2025. The ocean was calm, stunning, incredible swimming pools, lovely staff, good food. The ocean everywhere else in Phuket is too windy and tough this time of the yea! We loved the resort

Beautiful hotel to stay. They offer free beach entertainment (kayak, paddle board etc.) The beach is beautiful and the water calm. Food is great and rooms clean comfortable. Is a little pricey but worth

The hotell itself is okay. We would however not have chosen it again. The aircondition in our villa was making loud screaming sounds at random times, several times during the night. We made the management aware of this on 4 occasions and they sent engineers to our villa several times. They were sorry, but it never got fixed. I lost my temper at the last night when it woke us up at 1 am, and then we were offered to change villas. But who does that in the middle of the night. There were also cockroaches on the property, and we saw one huge one in our villa. Really disturbing. The bathtub was not really cleaned during housekeeping. The service around the pool and at the beach is close to non existing, you have to either catch them, or walk up to the bar above the pools yourself. There are also loads of crows and birds hunting for food there, but as they rarely clean up if you do order, you might have to walk back your trays yourself if you want to avoid being hassled by the birds and getting your towels full of bird poop. We ended up doing that on a couple occasions. If you don’t pay at the bar, it’s a 50/50 chance of getting your change. I don’t mind tipping, and most times I do. But ending up paying double just because I lack small bills in not ideal.

Property is just okay. Beach not really swimmable. And I got food poisoning from the lunch Buffett service. Most likely would not stay here again.

Bedside Light switch, hair dryer not working. Bathroom door cannot close. 1st night the shower drainage is clogged. Sent this list to hotel, they changed the hair dryer and unclogged the shower drainage. Had buffet dinner at hotel, the BBQ meat and prawn is tough, need to ask chef to re-cook fresh. Not much selection at breakfast too.

Overall this hotel was good. The staff were good especially the pool and beach people, they were amazing. The breakfast was also incredible. The main thing that let it down was the overall condition of everything. It’s just very tired in places and in much need of an update. There were bits falling off the bar roof by the pool and lots of things were broken. In our room hardly any of the light switches worked and we didn’t even want to go near the outside tub, it was just a bit grim.

For a 5-star hotel this expensive, this was a truly terrible experience. After two days of traveling, we arrived to find no towels in our room. It took five calls to reception before we got beach towels instead of regular towels. The next day, we were given only one towel for three people, and the day after, just two towels—still not enough for 3 of us. The cleanliness was appalling. Our room had tiny ants crawling everywhere, and the bathtub was not cleaned properly, with hair all around the drain when we checked in. This level of hygiene is unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one at this price point. Customer service was virtually non-existent. Every time I called to order room service, I was told someone would call back, but no one ever did. When I tried to extend our stay while waiting for other accommodations, I called the day before and was told to call back later. The next morning, on the day of check-out, we were suddenly informed that the hotel was fully booked and had to leave immediately, with no prior notice. To extend our stay, I was casually advised to check a well known third party service for availability. This hotel failed on all fronts—cleanliness, service, and communication. As an expensive hotel it was an absolute disappointment. I would never recommend staying here. Spend your money somewhere that values its guests and provides basic services.

Sehr schönes Hotel. In der Nähe ist nicht besonders viel, aber für einen ruhigen, entspannten Urlaub - besonders als Familie - ist es super.

Eine sehr schöne Anlage mit tollen Zimmern und tollen Ausblick. Alles sehr ruhig. Personal alle unfassbar freundlich. Tolle Deko auf den Zimmern/betten. Einfach nur toll!!!
