Room was great, and excellent location. Parking limited but free!. Save hundreds! Staff were great too, thanks for all, the Grove shops and Farmers Market is just 5 minute walking, no need pay parking to go there. Franklin, stayed 4 days (23-27-2024).

Just as one would expect:
1) Comfortable and cozy room,
2) Very good mattress
3) Good temperature control but noisy fan
4) standard bath with terrible toilet paper,
5) Tasty self-serve breakfast, hot waffles

We had such a fantastic day at the Surestay. Ms. Joy at the front desk lives up to her name. She made sure we were comfortable and, although I hadn’t reserved an accessible room, she made sure that I had one that was safe for me. My husband and I came for one night, prior to surgery and were very pleased with the hotel.
We easily walked over to Fairfax and had dinner at Canter‘s deli. We were also able to walk to the Grove and enjoy the shopping and of course some ice cream.
The hotel is very clean. It is dated, and could use a little elbow grease, but for the price, we absolutely will stay there again. Parking is limited, but we did not have any difficulty finding a spot. If you’re looking for safe, clean, and comfortable – this is your place.

It's your average motel experience. The bed and bathroom areas were clean. There was good lighting and good water pressure. The people were nice and everything functioned well.
The facilities overall are old, so you're going to see stained ceilings, peeling paint, walls that need a good wash or paint job.
The parking is definitely a tight squeeze - large vehicles or low vehicles proceed with caution, but once you're in it's convenient enough.
All in all, It wouldn't be my first choice for the price, just depends on what's comfortable for you.

This was a good stay especially with the areas we wanted to visit in LA. My only issue was the parking. There is a small, tight parking area under the hotel. This was not easy to maneuver for my Nissan Armada. There are a few spots in a small lot down the alley for the hotel too.

A grande vantagem desse hotel é a localização, fica próximo do The Grove , aonde você encontra diversos restaurantes. Também no quarteirão tem outras opções de restaurantes e padarias . Mas o hotel é bem antigo , mas todos os atendentes foram atenciosos . O café da manhã é bom , mas naquele estilo americano , mas o local do café da manhã é bem apertado . Outro ponto importante é que o hotel fica aberto durante a noite , não acho isso muito seguro , mas os atendentes falaram que nessa região de Bervely Hills isso é comum e que não nunca tiveram problemas de segurança . E de fato nada aconteceu .

The hotel was nice and clean, but showing its age as it was probably built in the late 60s or in the 70s.
The staff were very friendly.
You had to ask to have your room made up each day, but staff were very good and the room was very clean, beds were made and new towels every time we asked.
The air conditioner was noisy and the beds were hard.
The driveway was incredibly tight and there was plenty of evidence of wall scraping, you need to have a small narrow vehicle or be a very confident driver.
Walking distance to the nearby Los Angeles Farmers Markets and the Grove shopping centre.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location near the grove which is what we wanted. Quick and easy checkin. They even had waffles, bagels and fruit for breakfast. Nice little courtyard.

Room was tiny but clean and quiet. Bed was comfortable. Window opened to street level so for security reasons you could not leave it open. Breakfast was minimal.
