A little quiet for us.

The most stunning hotel, set on the banks of the Strait. Staff are friendly and very helpful, even brought our little ones some hot chocolate in the evening.

Good to stay at a eloquent Chateau with nice garden area and sea view.

Amazing place. Even just walking the gardens at the property was fun

Terrific chateau, brilliant views incredibly quiet, booked for 2 days but had to come home after one night, i expected to be blown away by the suite we booked but were disappointed it seemed worn and drab, but had magnificent views, very clean though, prices were very over the top for drinks etc, the breakfast was a buffet and looked very nice but it was cold so how can you enjoy it, we've stayed in a lot 4 to 5 stars hotels in wales and i expected this to be better but it wasn't, saying that the building and interior are very very magnificent

The chateau is absolutely stunning and unique. Very picturesque, especially by the sea front. The welcoming was incredibly friendly and all staff were helpful. We opted for the best suite, so a little bit more on the pricey side for a nights stay. First impressions, the chateau had plenty of character and in keeping for the era it was built. The room was massive, bathtub in bedroom by the window (beautiful sea views), and a huge walk in shower which was really nice. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room was questionable - bath wasn’t cleaned properly, coffee machine not emptied, dirty face towel in the shower. Not a deal breaker but alongside this, the room was just pretty worn (we stoped in the duke suite). Cracked tiles, cracked window pane, wallpaper peeling, lots of wear marks on the wooden furniture… it all just needed a bit of tlc and a tidy up both deep clean and also restoration. Not that we used the tv but it’s tiny vs the bed. We still loved the place and only gave feedback upon departing but it was more an fyi for some quick wins. I saw reviews about the garden saying it’s a bit tired and I can appreciate that, again some tlc needed as it’s all going a bit wild but still beautiful nonetheless. Incredible seafront views. We didn’t have an evening meal here so can’t comment but the bar was good. Breakfast next morning was average at best - small selection of buffet food and sadly pretty tasteless. Overall, we had a great stay and a really good time.

We loved our stay and highly recommend visiting. The staff was lovely.

So we had an excellent stay and enjoy our trip in general great service from the staff and great detail only couple of things I would recommend is the extraction fan in bathroom of our room was full of dust and when asked to make room up every day the lamps was not dusted and had dust on them when we arrived others a great place to stay and would definitely return

All looks great BUT stayed in the “Lodge which was not our best stay and people moving around above us at 11pm- not good. Staff were good but the Lodge stay is not

One of the worst values in traveling I have ever experienced. The cottage room was not sufficient.

My stay at the lodge was highly disappointing. The room lacked a bar fridge and in-room services, which was inconvenient. Room service was inconsistent, arriving at unpredictable times, and the bed was uncomfortable. Additionally, the washroom was designed for accessibility, which didn’t align with our expectations for the price paid. Overall, the experience did not reflect the value we expected for the cost.

Lovely castle very dated but lots of atmosphere… my room was very warm as it had hot pipes running through it good job the weather was cool

Staff were lovely, building had beautiful details, we really enjoyed sunrise from the summer balcony in the common area. Complimentary breakfast was very good.

Chateau Rianfha is a great hotel - staff is very friendly - and if you want to stay in a castle - here you go - I would definitely go back!

Great venue. Château and grounds amazing. Ate at the restaurant which was a set 3 corse menu. Everything tasted amazing. Stayed in lodge which had panoramic views of the menai strait and snowdonia. Very special place.

We stayed one night there, staff were very nice and helpful and we had a superb dinner at the hotel. Our room was on the lower ground floor and reception was two floors above so I would not recommend this place for anyone with mobility issues plus we kept hearing doors banging until past midnight (there was a staff excess door leading to the garden and anyone goes in or out they just slammed the door on their way). The room was simply perfect and bathroom was very clean, big and bright and bed really comfortable. I would say breakfast operation was very chaotic, it really needed a better supervision and possibly more staff as the ones working there were under a lot of stress trying to manage the whole operation. Please do not be offended by my comments as they are meant as constrictive feedback and should not be taken in any other way.
