A beautiful hotel with a rich history! You can't beat the view of the harbor and location for activities. Plus, the Visitor's Center, harbor taxies and tour busses are all within a block.
The staff was so friendly and professional. The rooms were awesome, with great beds and pillows.
My only complaint is that some rooms have you check in on the 1st floor vs the main lobby. However, the bell hops will assist you with getting you and your luggage there. If you drive a SUV, you won't be able to self-park in the garage. However, the staff will park your car for you in their private lot.
I would highly recommend a stay at the Fairmont Empress. Don't forget to book tea!!
