Wish we could have stayed longer! A little bit of paradise in the very busy Playa Del Carmen. The staff are excellent. Would absolutely stay again!

Property was clean and well Kept, staff was amazing and the beach was next level

This was one of the most disappointing resort experiences we’ve had. The property is beautiful, but our stay was overshadowed by constant problems. We had to move rooms twice because of serious maintenance and cleanliness issues. Our first room had roaches, large gaps around the front door that allowed geckos inside, poor water pressure, and other maintenance problems. After being moved, the air conditioning completely failed, leaving us without AC overnight in the Riviera Maya heat until another room could be arranged. We spent more time packing, unpacking, meeting with management, and waiting on maintenance than enjoying our vacation. Even the common areas were disappointing, with animals wandering through the breakfast area while guests were eating. Management acknowledged our experience was unacceptable, apologized, and approved a $600 refund, which I signed for before checkout. Weeks later, I still have not received the refund. I was also told the document I signed meant I couldn’t discuss my experience with other guests, yet I was never given a copy of what I signed. Problems can happen anywhere, but failing to honor a promised refund and leaving guests without answers is unacceptable. Until the resort follows through on what was promised, I cannot recommend staying here.

Beautiful place excellent service

Beautiful hotel located close to downtown.

Equipe de funcionários péssima. Como o hotel não estava cheio, acredito que coloquem poucos funcionários para trabalhar. Mesmo assim, funcionários incapacitados. Tudo demora. Não me entregaram a garrafa de bebida que tinha direito devido a reserva realizada por aqui. Várias áreas fechadas. Somente um local para comida disponível. Várias obras ocorrendo no hotel. Fechadura eletrônica do quarto quebrada. Cama média em relação a conforto. Não fiquem nesse hotel. O preço é muito caro comparado a outros.

The staff is amazing they helping out with everything you need. We come back because this place is beautiful, Unfortunately the menus are different now, they cut a lot of options for lunch and the breakfast is the same everyday. I wish they back on the same menus from 2 years ago. The place is beautiful but they can do better improving the rooms. Drinks are delicious.

Great location, I loved that you can opt out of the all inclusive. Great staff all of them were nice and friendly. Just understand that if you are not in the all inclusive plan, menu options are limited.

Everything was wonderful. The only down fall was the water pressure in the shower.

Amazing hotel right by the beach. They also had a coffee shop in the hotel and their gym and day activities were so fun. They had merengue classes, water aerobics, Pilates, yoga, and so many other activities throughout the resort. Their spa was amazing too, we got facials and massages and the staff were so nice. Definitely recommend, great location!!

Fuego restaurant needs a better selection of cuisines, possibly even different cuts of meat(seafood/poultry/beef). The food lacked flavoring and the right consistency.

Todo perfecto y atentos como siempre

This place is beautiful very zen like vibes. Property is very well kept up with a secluded private feeling. Located in the middle of everything. The road coming into it starts all of these vines the place has. Would’ve gave them 5 stars across the board if it weren’t for the night manager being very rude when the AC went out in our room after a long day of scuba diving. We were moved to another ocean view room like we had after some unnecessary arguing with the guy.

We love the property. Feeling like you are staying in a tree house is so awesome. Sadly they are not maintaining. We have been here several times and will not return. The seaweed was horrible as well…

Please beware of the "Resort Fees" I had to pay an additional amount and according to them it was resort fees, environmental fees, and service fee. At first I thought it was okay but then I remembered that is not what was on my Expedia paper and when I asked for more explanation they said I didn't pay it. Upon check out I noticed all those fees were already detailed in what I had paid through Expedia. The hotel was also a bit dirty. Chairs in one of the lounges were dirty. Cocina restaurant was closed and we were not aware until after we checked in. Should be told when booking. One pool was also closed for a private event for one of the days. I think this information should be communicated when booked. The resort should reach out to the guest who book. Pools were not cleaned daily and there was bugs and leaves on the pool. Pool chairs had dirty pillows. Jacuzzi does not work. Jets worked but water was not warm at all. LOTS of mosquitos not the resorts fault but beware. Some staff were friendly but the manager who I spoke to about the fees was a little heated.

Great, helpful, and friendly staff that make an effort to recognize guests despite the short time allowed. The breakfast buffet was filled with alternatives that should suit every visitor - from greens to eggs and sides to pancakes and sweets. However there were invariably lines for omelets every day. While I don't mind waiting for my breakfast to be prepared, I do expect to be able to wait at my table while consuming another item that I will enjoy.

The smell from the seaweed MADE US SICK! We were unable to stay and had to leave after just one night. We tried to get a refund for the unused nights we paid for but they refused. WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE WE HAVE EVER HAD!

Everything was great. Clean property, everybody was so friendly. We’re so enjoying our vacation.
