The problem is around the hotel is a lot a homeless and ol.

Shared bathroom with entire floor, had to walk up 3 floors to get to room.

It was actually pretty good for what it is. I was impressed with the cleanliness. I would say that the mattresses should be updated. They were very cheap and uncomfortable. They also could have moved the furniture around so that the television is at the foot of the bed and viewable to both people in the room and lastly...... clean up and repaint that damn stairway. ROOM 106

I booked this hotel for a stay with family as it appeared under family friendly search. But this hotel is right next to a shop with "sex shop" sign and there are few strip clubs just nearby. Don't book for family stay - this is right in the middle of adult entertainment zone.

The hotel needs a lot of work. Our toilet seat and bathroom mirror were broken, the window screen was torn off and one window was open with window air conditioner on; we discovered this on day 2. Windows and ac were dirty, mattress cover was ripped and pillows were dirty. There was 1 coffee cup, 2 glasses and 1 plate in the kitchen. The “breakfast” consisted of coffee, toast and 3 types of dry cereals. The carpet into the lobby was dirty and worn. The sheets, bathroom and kitchen were clean, and staff was attentive and friendly.

Amazing location for Jazz Fest. Only a double bed as described but had a cot.

Room had a very weird smell.

La chambre était propre et suffisait à besoins simples pour le weekend. Personnel accueillant et disponible en cas de besoin. Présence 24hr/24. Chambre climatisée avec salle de bain et mini cuisine, très pratique Facilement rejoignable à pied de la gare centrale de Montréal et pour aller au Palais des Congrès où je passais le weekend.

If you’re just looking for a place to shower and get a good night’s sleep that’s close to the métro, this hotel is a great choice. During our four-day stay, there was a jazz festival happening right outside the hotel, which made the area lively and fun. We really enjoyed the atmosphere.

The photo from the booking site is nothing like IRL. The very first impression of the place as we stepped into the staircase is of a hostel out of a low-budget slasher flick where nobody survives the stay. The SMELL, the FLOOR, the barely-secure lock. Oh and the washroom is outside in the hallway without a stall door for the toilet. We looked at trading up twice to another room for an extra $30 and then $60 respectively but each “upgrade” is actually worse than the last. The stairs are non-code compliant death-fall traps. We request cancellation on-the-spot but the staff declined ANY refunds although we booked for 2-days stay. We ended up paying-but-not-staying, opted to look for less accursed accommodation. The Hilton Garden Inn where we ended up staying at cost us another rental but luckily just slightly more expensive @ 40$ more per night. I have stayed at some really rundown accommodations in very sketchy places but this is the first one that I have ever refused to stay at. If the site photos seem acceptable, note that they are VERY, VERY NOT ACCURATE. Do not book. Sorry no photos to show, they are nightmare-inducing enough as-is. Didn’t want to chance paranormal stuff.

Todo el local sucio, la habitación con huecos en las paredes y mal olor, sucia. Los aires con mucho polvo que no se limpia desde muchos años. Lo que publican en Strava no es la realidad de hotel. No recomiendo.

Rooms are bad, not what you see in the pictures. Do not book this hotel, until and unless you see the rooms physically. Rooms are worst, feels like everything’s gonna fall apart

Breakfast is only toast and cereals but it’s alright

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was in a great area to explore Old Port Montreal but besides that, I don’t have anything positive to say… I was shocked before I even entered my room when I saw Dorito chips on every picture frame on the walk up to my room. I was even more shocked when I walked into my room and saw that the doorframe and locks were broken and ripped off the wall. There were multiple holes/cracks in the walls with exposed pipes and the towel rack had been ripped off the wall. The room was dirty (Bed/Lamp/Curtains and anything made of cloth was stained). It seemed like there was mould in the room around the windows that had just been painted over. There was no bathroom in the room, only a shared bathroom for the entire top floor of rooms with a clogged toilet and was very dirty overall. We stayed out of our room as long as possible and only used it for a short sleep until we could get out of there ASAP.

Ok location, good staff. The room however, was bad. Smelled a lot, noisy and no maintenance the last few decades.

Very, very old everything. Looks like it hasn't been updated since the 60's.

It was dirty,smell of mold,noise of passing traffic and not well maintained at all.

Came back to the room at 10:30 pm and the door lock was busted. We were told that they couldn’t do anything to get us in until the morning. Ended up having to sleep without any of our stuff in a completely new room. They were only able to offer $40 canadian as a reimbursement.
