Was there for the weekend from Seattle. The room doesn't have very solid blinds, so the light starts coming in pretty early. But, no issues ofther than that. Good staff, great restaurant attached, and a grocery store across the street for snacks.

The room was spotless and smelled great! The mattress and bedding were new and great hotel quality. I was very comfortable and slept really well. I used to patron the bar back in the 90's, and was so pleased at how they updated everything and still kept the old charm.The staff were TOP NOTCH! Very accommodating, and helpful. The area is a bit noisy being on Hastings, and above a club, but I wasn't disturbed in the least. The location is great for walking Commercial Drive, and has transit, grocery and a Dollar Store right there. The parking was such a bonus! I will 100% stay there again! You won't find a better value for your $$ in Vancouver. Totally recommend!

Bath room door is hard to move around. Hotel is on first floor , no elevator. Parking is free and convenient. room furniture is not in great shape. Bed and blankets are good quality.

We had a fairly good stay at Hotel at the Waldorf. The staff were very friendly and genuinely kind 😊 — especially one man (I don’t know his name), but he was extremely positive and left a really great impression ✨ The room was reasonably clean — not perfect, but acceptable 👍 The main downside was the noise. The windows are not very soundproof, so we could clearly hear the street, especially seagulls 🐦, which was a bit disturbing. The neighborhood looks a bit worn, but overall it felt calm and safe 🙂 Overall, it was a decent stay for the price 💸

Was awful terrible the most scared of my whole life. Even a man died for a heart attack the police firefighters and paramedics came . Also the zone has homeless and junkyards. Never again. Was a totally scam

For the price you can't complain. Area is not the best. Traffic noise could be an issue. It is well dated but the room was comfortable. The window didn't close and was very thin. There are good restaurants and shopping nearby.

A quintessential piece of Vancouverana. Okay it's a bit of a dodgy/sketchy part of town, but so what, it's rare for a Canadian - no matter how tough life is for them - to cause you harm. Have a couple of 'Fat Tugs' in the Waldorf Tiki bar and meet the locals !!

No frills and dollarama across the steet. Bus stop right outside the door. Friendly and courteous staff. Room was nice enough. Things were overall clean. However, the only thing I was not okay with was the black mold around the bottom of the shower.
