The property shows neglect and should be torn down. There are much better options in Cranbrook, as we learned while looking around.

We chose this hotel because it was advertised as pet friendly, which was important for us. The staff were genuinely very sweet and helpful throughout our stay, which we really appreciated. That said, the room we were assigned was quite disappointing. It felt run down and didn’t seem very clean, to the point where I kept my shoes on the entire time. The shower itself worked, but the tub spout diverter (the part used to switch water from the showerhead to the bathtub faucet) didn’t function properly. I’m not sure if pet-friendly guests are assigned specific rooms, but overall I wasn’t impressed with the condition of the room we stayed in. The saving grace of the experience was definitely the staff, who were kind, approachable, and very helpful.

The room was disgusting, the bathroom was FULL of black mould. Every corner in the room was full of dust, the safety lock on the door was ripped off, only 2 towels left out for us, the walls and doors are beat up. This hotel needs a serious face lift and they shouldn’t be charging $220 a night to stay. The staff couldn’t give us a refund as we booked through Expedia, they made up excuses as to why. Very disappointed.

Bathroom and fixtures could be updated.

Only stayed a night, staff was very friendly and welcoming. Room was clean.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is dated and in serious need of maintenance and upgrading. No breakfast and pool was out for maintenance, price is too high for the rooms.

There is no breakfast, room smelled like smoke.

Everything was great and only did the lower stars as it is winter going into spring so there is that dirty and dusty look still.

Bathroom was not cleaned before our stay. My car was broken into twice in the parking lot. The front desk staff I interacted with was very friendly and very kind.

The pool was out of order for the whole stay.

It would have been nice if on the web site it would have said their pool was closed. That was a big disappointment. They only have coffee until 1pm. Other than that it was ok. Nothing special.

Check-in was quick and parking was available close to the room which made it easy to off load luggage. That attached Denny's was a nice feature. We had dinner there and it was nice to not have to leave the hotel and get back in the car after a long drive in the car to find dining. On the morning of check-out the hotel lost power, so we checked out quicker than normal, as we had planned to visit Denny's again for breakfast, but the restaurant also did not have power. The room was comfortable and quiet and we would stay again next time we are travelling through Cranbrook.

We left after a mouse ran across our room! Staff admitted they have a mouse problem. They promised us a full refund.

Room was clean but the tap in the tub dripped all night. Pool was not open either.

Central location, lots of parking.

I had a good experience good night sleep quiet, good staff comfortable bed and a nice breakfast in the morning. Would recommend to anybody traveling.
