The walls in the hotel were paper thin, and you could hear every little thing in the adjacent rooms. We were woken up in the middle of the night by people speaking in the room next to us, and were scared they were in our room. The changing room was dirty and had no towels for guests, despite explicitly being told to not bring the towels from our rooms and use those instead. The beds were uncomfortable, and our room lacked any fridge, microwave, or a properly working tv. Not impressed and would not stay there again.

We changed hotels to The Fox on the last night of our trip so that we could experience the grotto in winter. We had a wonderful check-in experience and were wowed by the heated parking garage! Our room was a little bit underwhelming but it was very clean and in good condition. The Chili’s on site is super fun and surprisingly has great AM coffee! The star of the show is obviously the hot pool and we were so happy to have the opportunity to warm up there after long days outside. Our check-in process was made so wonderful by staff and I’ll be emailing the hotel directly to highlight that employee’s service.

I will begin with the good! Rooms are spacious we had the loft with a king bed. The heated parking garage is fantastic. And the front desk staff were friendly Now the not so good Rooms are some what clean, our toilet was missing the covers where they connect to the lid and they were filled with urine and debris. The coffee supplied by the hotel is extremely low quality and a decent cup of coffee is a good walk away. I suggest bringing your own coffee & filters. The “grotto” the experience the first day was decent! But the second and third day, not so much. The workers who were frequenting the grotto were allowing over 30+ people in the space in which atleast 28 of them were consuming alcohol, and had gone as far to bring coolers in to the “grotto”. While we don’t mind someone having a casual drink, when you get a group of 15-20 adults bringing in their coolers they get carried away very quickly. By the time we went to leave the grotto there was several used nicotine pouches floating in the water. The sauna was dirty and the floor again littered with nicotine pouches. Workers seemed unconcerned by this, there is regular “daily maintenance” scheduled from 12-1 but each day we entered the same pouches were all over the sauna floor and floating in the water & under benches. If you are looking for cleanliness I suggest staying elsewhere. We are pretty adaptable but this was just unacceptable.
