Breakfast at Chili 's was delicious and great value dor rhe money. The room was small and showed its age from wear marks on the doors and furniture down to the peeling wallpaper in the bathroom. The grotto was deceptively small and nothing more than a hangout to drink even though there are signs stating no alcohol was permitted. The floor was disgustingly dirty. This is not a place I would recommend or ever stay again. It is not worth the rates that are charged.

The place needs a really deep clean. Winter is over and the spring cleaning so needed is just not happening. The people are great and truly helpful, and it is a pretty good location on the strip, but it is loud and there were a ton of parties this weekend

I loved my stay with the fox, the room was nice and good for a short stay and the underground pool/hot spring was absolutely the best part. I wish the room had a mini fridge or a microwave but other than that it was genuinely an amazing stay and I would absolutely book it again.

Rooms needs some updating couch was ripped and had to use the staircase to get to the bedrooms if someone had a big suitcase I could see problems

Stayed in a 2 double bed room. Had a coffee maker and a kettle for tea. No fridge or microwave. Had blackout blinds as well as normal blinds. Pool/hot tub was nice and everything seemed clean. Got for a great price. Underground parking was good. They will give a bus pass if staying there

Hot tub could’ve been a bit warmer, and the change rooms had a bad smell. The room shower didn’t get very hot, and took a while to heat up. Overall a great stay and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were very kind and nice to have chilis in the building for a quick bite or drink.

The doors didn’t lock, the bathroom was dirty, cards didn’t work. Blood on wall , wires sticking out of shower head, bathroom door didn’t lock , didn’t follow through Expedia voucher.

Hot tub was amazing! Room was cute and cozy and having chilis on site was an amazing perk.

Stayed in the hotel for two days and my overall feeling was that the room was a little bit up. The silicone around the bathtub was quite poor. They the paint on the bathroom ceiling was flaking off and the mirror above the vanity, though good quality, was hanging very low, and I needed almost to sit to see my face while shaving.

Room was great, but the walls were very thin so heard everything from neighbours and outside. Hot pool was really cool.

Property and hotel is a bit dated but clean and comfortable. Grotto hot tub was enjoyable. On site restaurant was convenient and good for breakfast. Staff were very helpful. Would stay again.

While the Fox is well maintained and welcoming, it was incredibly noisy. I did not get any sleep either night of my visit due to the noise of other guests. In the “adjoining” room, which I did not share with anyone, the occupant spent the first night yelling, screaming, and banging around. The second night, people were in the courtyard until 4 am screaming and partying. The doors to rooms open to the outside courtyard and you can hear every single noise. Finally, the room was tiny. I booked a double queen and the beds were barely considered a double. My husband and I had to sleep in separate beds. The tub did not drain which was concerning while showering. At one point the water was half way up my calves. I will not be returning to The Fox in Banff as it seems as it is a party hotel with no quiet hours.
