房間大而無當，因設施擺放不好，咖啡、熱水等在玄關位，sofa 旁冇 coffee table，想安坐 sofa 嘆咖啡也不能。浴厠分房，但洗水盆只在浴室，即係冇用。

Complicated and restrictive system for booking the swimming pool, only 8 persons allowed. Car parking very limited with surrounding car parks very expensive. Bathroom dangerous, there is a desperate need for hand rails, it’s an accident waiting to happen climbing out of the bath. The sofa beds in the rooms are very uncomfortable and desperately need the mattresses replaced. Location superb and very handy for the train and venues like The Crucible. Good pricing structure.

Great location, close to train station/ bars/ shops etc. Comfortable and clean room, nice bar.

We enjoyed our stay and the location was great. The only thing we disliked was the toilet being in a separate section to the main bathroom. We found this unhygienic as there was no facilities for hand washing before you had to touch door handles. Everything else was great

Unhelpful

The breakfast was great, the internet was fast, the staff were ok, and the gym was basic but adequate. The carpet in the room appeared to be old and ready to be changed, it made the room feel dirty. During my visit they were replacing fire doors so there was a bit of noise during the days but not unbearable. Very close to the trains for easy access, close to a supermarket and a retail shopping centre.

Door replacement started on our corridor at 830am and very noisy until checkout at 12. Disappointing as daughter was preparing for an interview. Would have been better to put us on a different floor if they knew works were going on

Lovely room, friendly staff who were quick to sort any issues, very good location! It was unfortunate that there was a mix up of rooms at check in, being given a key to a room that was already occupied by other guests, but it was quickly sorted for us. Being less comfortable with lifts, it would have been nice to have had the option of stairs up to our room, but we were only staying overnight so managed the lifts. The swimming pool was very small and there weren’t slots available for us to use it (I think there was a maximum of 4/6 people at a time) which was a shame, but we stopped at a great leisure centre in Mansfield on our way home to make up for it!

Room felt dated and was worn in places. Paint work chipped in multiple places and worn spots in the carpet. Whoever fitted the carpet needs glasses as it didn’t even reach the wall in some places. Also woken up to the deafening sound of drilling in the room above at 9am. I know there are signs saying this may happen as they are replacing fire doors. But if check out is 12, surely work can start a little later!! Also each time I went to reception it was at least a 5 minute wait before someone appeared

Clean and spacious. A little bit tired and room not ready when arrived at check in time. However reception was helpful. Bar prices were a lot higher the n online prices

Hotel and room looks tired. Various bath and sink fittings were either half attached or missing, the shower controls were extremely loose making temperature adjustment like craking a safe. There was a constant buzz from the extractor in the toilet as well as a rumble from the HVAC system which cannot be turned off. The TV had very few channels turned in or recieving any signal (even the general Freeview ones were not on the TV). The blackout curtain material was good but was ill fitting so a border of light came around the curtain, something only beathen by the light from the corridor coming in from the surround of the poorly fitted door. The bedding was adequate apart from the pillows which were lumpier than school custard. Buffet breakfast was okay but £14 is a bit steep. Overall better hotels to look at in the same price range before choosing this one.
