Breakfast was pretty much served cold and my spouse thought it had a very sketchy/gloomy vibe

Centrally located. Nice buffet breakfast with plenty of different options.

The only thing I like is free breakfast and location.otherwise hotel is terrible.everthing in room is broken shower is bad night light is not working.

My stay at Ion Hotel was very disappointing and did not meet my expectations. The breakfast was average, with a limited selection and food that lacked quality and variety. It was not what I expected from a hotel of this standard. The biggest issue was the condition of the room. It appeared as though it had not been properly cleaned for a long time. There was visible dust, and the room felt neglected rather than prepared for new guests. Cleanliness is one of the most important parts of any hotel stay, and this room fell well below an acceptable standard. Another frustrating issue was the bathroom lights, which repeatedly turned off while they were in use. The walls were extremely thin, making it easy to hear conversations, footsteps, doors closing, and other noise from neighboring rooms and the hallway. It was so loud throughout the day and night that it was difficult to relax or get a good night’s sleep. The elevator was another concern, as the doors often failed to open and close properly, making it feel unreliable and unsafe to use. Overall, the combination of poor cleanliness, maintenance issues, excessive noise, and an underwhelming breakfast made my stay far less enjoyable than expected. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this hotel until significant improvements are made. I hope the hotel invests in better housekeeping, maintenance, and soundproofing to improve future guests’ experiences.

Bathroom was old. TV was not working properly. Vault was not working. Good breakfast buffet. Did not really have much interaction with guest services besides the check in and out. I was given an upgrade but other room was not what I expected.

Plenty houseflies at restaurants during breakfast

They gave us 2 connecting room but one room has AC problem not working at all! Rest room is dirty, faucet and shower pipes has MOLDS, OMG!

We were greeted nicely when we arrived. However, the room we had on our first night was very disappointing. The shower drain didn’t drain properly, so it flooded in the washroom. It took the staff 10 minutes just to get all the water down the drain (if this is an issue to you, avoid Room 307). This next issue made me furious. As I was about to get in bed after taking a shower, I lifted the duvet and found a thumbtack facing up. I immediately took pictures of it (attached to this review). I notified front desk about this hazard, but they didn’t seem to be that concerned. They just said they were gonna let room service know about it and didn’t perform any deep inspection. I asked for a room change that night because of these issues, but they just disregarded the request. It was really frustrating. I came to the front desk in the morning, and thank you to the morning shift staff, they accepted the request for a room change (moved to Room 306). No alarming issues during our second day. Overall, Baguio was fun. We were just hoping that our first night at Ion Hotel went safely and smoothly, especially after a long day of travel from Manila.

It’s walking distance to Burnham park. Staff is helpful and friendly. Room is clean. Servings delicious breakfast.

Overall great

Great location far enough from all the traffic but can easily get places in 10-15 minutes. Staff are very nice. The only issue I had was the whole room transfer and not being told upfront that we will need to transfer the next day. I booked 2 family rooms and did an early paid for early check in on arrival for one room and they put us on adjoining room since they only have one available because of the the 3 other family room they have had was under construction. I was not told that I have to transfer to standard room the next day. The towels can use some upgrade though

Clean room, staff are not so attentive. Breakfast is basic.
