Good location, however, the hotel is too old, and the bathroom is not clean and has an odor.

整體十分滿意，但是有兩個早上凌晨5點左右，被嘈吵聲音弄醒，聲音疑似倒垃圾，希望留意及改善。另外有一個建議，使用酒店內設施希望可以改用房卡進入，比較要向接待處取卡更為方便呢！

The hotel is in a great location. There was view of the castle from the window but there are bars and resturants across from where our room was. This was lively and noisy until 1am. The room was hot and stuffy so we opened the window but it barely opened so it had little impact to make the room cooler. The room and bathroom is dated.

There is no ac, they have a fan in the room and the window was open when we arrived. It was still quite muggy and the road and restaurant/bar scene lasts all night long. Strongly recommend that you bring ear plugs. The bed ok, not great. The carpet was loose and rippled. Of our 10 days in Scotland and three different hotels, this one was the worst.

Loved this place. Great location with a fantastic view of the castle. Would stay here again.

The staff were extremely helpful, when we checked in we were greeted by a really lovely man who was very helpful and made check in extremely easy. The hotel is in a great location and wasn’t far from anywhere. The room itself was very comfy and everything we needed was provided. Later on I went down to the bar and the staff were really helpful in providing some drinks. All in all, I don’t have any bad things to say about the hotel. 10/10 would highly recommend!

Nice property, modern feeling. The room was a good size, comfortable bed. The hallways were hot and the carpet had a bleach spot. Some of the woodwork needs to be touched up with paint. The bathroom sink drained quite slowly. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The bar area and restaurant were very good. The Sunday roast was excellent and reasonably priced for the quality. The location was convenient to walk everywhere, but there is climb to get to New Town. Overall, I’d stay there again,

Excellent location super friendly staff and the food was excellent

We stayed for 2 nights at this hotel. It was conveniently situated where you can easily walk around the whole city center ans thankfully there was onsite parking so that was a plus. Good restaurants and shopping was nearby and the view of Edinburgh Castle was awesome. The only item to note is while you have a balcony its not acceptable and the window only opens a few inches. That wasn't mentioned in the description. We didn't partake in any meals at the hotel because we wanted to explore the city. Also because you are so close to everything it's not quite in the evening but that's to be expected. All in all we had a decent stay.

The hotel itself is lovely, but unfortunately our stay was let down by the noise. We were woken at 6:00 a.m. by the bins being emptied right outside our window, and the noise continued as staff pulled noisy delivery carts along outside. After such a disturbed night's sleep, we didn't feel the room was worth what we paid. It's a real shame because the hotel has a lot going for it, but based on this experience, we won't be returning.

This hotel is very old. The staff do not clean the rooms properly - our shampoo was not changed out until we asked despite it being completely empty. I had a glass in the shower one night to hold liquid soap - it sat there all week. There was mold in the bathrooms. The carpet under the beds (they rolled very easily) was full of crumbs. To top it off - no mini fridge so we couldn’t even keep drinks in the room and keep them cold to try and cool off. A fire alarm went off the second night we were there - no assistance was provided to help my 70 year old mother. The only response given was “can you call her” .. we were in the 10th floor. I tried to reach out to the staff for a top sheet - no response. It was middle of a heat wave and we were expected to be sleeping with a heavy duvet. Do not book this hotel.

The property was kept very clean and felt very safe. It was located in a very convenient spot that was walkable to restaurants and attractions. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to us and our two babies, especially when we required milk for our youngest child at odd hours of the night.

It is close to Victoria St. but keep in mind it’s an older hotel. It had a strong odor and you could tell it was an older building.
