Very strategic, clean rooms with beautiful views at the front of the grassmarket. The receptionist's name is Sara, she was very helpful to me. I really enjoyed staying here, for me, I'm a halal traveler. I really recommend this place. Near this hotel there is a Zaza cafe, you have to try it.

My experience of staying at Apex was very pleasant. The hotel is strategically close to the city center. In front of the hotel there are lots of restaurants and cafes, many right and left mini-markets that all look pretty similar in medieval times. And the most beautiful, when opening a hotel room window immediately visible Edinburgh Castle. Clean hotel rooms and complete facilities. Plus the breakfast menu is very tasty and varied.

Great view of castle excellent local, close to eve scene and castle, be prepared for hill and many stairs in Edinburgh. Staff very helpful and even offered to give directions with fewest stairs, no ac but had a fan came late May REALLY HOT in room windows only opened s small crack (we did come when they had a heat wave)

This property is located within walking distance to Edinburgh Castle and all of the sights along the Royal Mile. Staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Had a room with a view of the castle, had dinner on the balcony, wonderful spacious room loved haveing a mini fridge. Bed was comfortable and location was wonderful. Would definitely stay again on next trip.
