Coral sea view room has amazing views. Breakfast was fantastic, variety of food. Great location near beach and the Marina.

Beautiful ocean view, service staff friendly and very efficient and helpful. Apartments nice and big. Balcony’s get very dirty from the birds. Pool closed too early and island needs a new day spa.

Great location on the island. Convenient shuttle stop right out front. Friendly staff; good food and cocktails by the lovely pool. Ping pong tables and air hockey in the nearby community room, but equipment wasn't available if the desk wasn't staffed (which it often wasn't.) Pool table in the bar, though the sticks were warped. And not the fault of the resort, but the wild cockatoos on the island scream day and night - ear plugs will help you sleep.

I enjoyed staying at Whitsunday Islands but must admit the Reef Hotel was too busy for my liking. Also food was very average.

Island’s workforce is mainly 20-somethings. Service was hit/miss, and they don’t know that details matter. It’s Reef hotel was clean(ish), checkin wasn’t quite smooth, some food/bev were happy, others weren’t approachable. Great location, food was fine, ample to do.

Our room had a cockroach the first night. (We travel a lot and understand this is possible in the tropics) however I called housekeeping and the front desk everyday to get the room fogged or sprayed. They promised each day but were non responsive. Never showed up. Water was turned off 11-3 in our room one day. We got the paper notification under our door saying it would happen ( received the day after the fact) Asked to have rooms cleaned anytime before 1 each day. The only day they were there was checkout day. There was same garbage in the hall for the first 3 days. Property is dated. The guest services were polite and good with the bags at check in and out and the beds were well made each day. People were pleasant however, it seemed like lip service so we just stopped asking. I even sent an email. Hotel view is spectacular. Beach is lovely. With the exception of the bell boys the service was underwhelming

Our view was spectacular but the room did not meet expectations unfortunately. There was a smell of mold and few stains on the bathtub and bird poop on the wall near the bed. Despite this, the food was great and staff were lovely, we went out majority of the time and still enjoyed our stay on the island. Rooms may need an upgrade for the price you pay per night

The room was dirty, I actually had to get a mop and clean the floor because it was full of dirt and sand. I was here last year and actually got the cleaners to clean the floor full of sand. The room was great but it seems that it hasn't been cleaned for a while. all that the cleaners do is change the bed sheets and nothing else...

I stayed with friends and we loved the view from the room and how spacious it was. The only area for improvement would be that the beds had a slight damp smell. On the other hand, the buffet breakfast definitely deserves all the credit, it was amazing, with fresh options and something for everyone. It was our favorite part of the stay. Thank you, Reef View, for a great experience!

Clean room, great view , this is a small island so accommodation is limited but enjoyed our stay here very much - especially the shuttle bus All the staff without exception were excellent

good location, great view but hotel needs slight upgrade especially bathrooms. free buses give access to the island, staff friendly, breakfast good. beware of bar house rules regarding drinks.
