Very easy access to the old city and historic sites. Like being in Europe without leaving North America.

This hotel has been one of the best we have stayed at. On par with one of our favorites in Paris. The service is amazing and the hotel itself is breathtaking with a charming old shopping area around it.

A very nice place to stay for a weekend getaway to Quebec City!

An iconic property in the most beautiful spot of Quebec City. We took a deluxe room overlooking the boardwalk. Peaceful and nice. What we didn’t like was the substantial number of things-that-don’t-work-but-should-work. The website couldn’t take my booking, so I had to book through a third party. The spa website is clumsy and only a phone call works. The internet asks you for an Accor All number but the portal systematically refuses your All number. Ended up using my phone’s hotspot. Just not as easy or smooth as it should be at this price point.

The fourth floor ice machine is broken and water dispenser only dispenses lukewarm water on that floor. But apart from that the room and property was great. However the entrance area had construction going on right (April 21, 22, 2025) now so it is a bit chaotic.

Everything was amazing

Excellent place to stay. Receptionist asked why my husband and I were visiting. I explained it was our 28th wedding anniversary. Within 10 minutes of settling into our room, a waiter arrived with a bottle of champagne! What a nice touch to a wonderful stay.

Fantastic hotel, great service, but my common complaint about 5 star hotels is that everything costs extra, and costs a lot. But all said, great experience

A lovely hotel with an incredible staff.

The hotel and staff were great! We traveled in the off season which made it affordable. We did the free walking tour of Old Quebec City booked through the hotel which was great. We later paid for the history of the hotel tour. That was also good. The hotel is close to everything in Old Quebec with lots of dining options surrounding the hotel and in the hotel. It's definitely a soecial experience!

Wonderful stay!

I would like to commend the EXCEPTIONAL and EXCELLENT check in services provided by Alexander. Not only was he pleasant, courteous, and polite but also quite caring in his demeanour. Made every possible arrangement to ensure that my dad celebrated his 80th birthday comfortably and happily. We were a party of eight including children as young as five years old. Alexander to call those factors into consideration and so both my daughter who was also celebrating her 16th birthday, and my father were equally happy to celebrate their milestone birthdays at the Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac. Kudos Alex, you are a gem .,,,keep smiling and shining!

The Chateau never fails to exceed expectations. They even sent a bottle of champagne to our room for our Anniversary. The stay was wonderful
