Average hotel on the strip in Niagara. I was really unimpressed that there was a surprise « resort fee » charged when I arrived. This is not listed on the listing. Apparently it is for access to the amenities, which are only a pool and gym. This is not a resort, it is just a hotel and they are just normal hotel amenities. It’s basically a scam. Generally this platform is very good at tracking all the details of properties, but this is not the case here. Be prepared that the price you see here may not be the total price. When I raised this issue with the staff, and showed them that it was not on the listing or on my booking confirmation, they said there was nothing they could do and they would bring it to the manager, but then when I followed up, they had not escalated it. Seems like they aren’t interesting in rectifying it and continuing to run the scam. Disappointing for a Ramada. I would expect more from a hotel affiliated with a chain.

Spacious room. Good for family. Small outlet across the hotel. Staff are nice and helpful.

Clean room, good location and spacious room

My stay at the Ramada was disappointing due to pricing issues, room problems, and poor amenities. At check-in, the price I was charged did not match my Expedia booking (excluding $20/night parking). The manager, Daisy, said Expedia’s pricing is wrong and suggested using Booking dot com next time instead. I showed my confirmation, but she still charged more. She claimed an email with correct pricing was sent, but we checked my Expedia account together and it wasn’t there. I also saw two other guests dealing with the same issue. Our conversation went on for 20-30 mins before I gave up. It was a $10-$20 difference they just would not budge on. Room issues: First room faced the highway, extremely loud noise through the AC vent, no one could sleep well that night We were moved to a quieter room (much better) TV was blurry in both rooms (likely signal issue, not the TV) Water in both rooms was scalding hot (safety concern, especially for kids) Amenities were a disgrace so not sure why there is a 'resort fee': Gym: 2 bikes + 1 rowing machine, very outdated, basement, no windows, poor ventilation Pool: cold, dirty, basement location, no windows, poorly maintained The good - The room was large and clean, the water pressure in the shower was good. The bed and pillow was clean and comfortable. The location was not as sketchy as other areas on the street. Overall, lack of transparency and accommodation from the staff over a $10-$20 difference

Excellent staff and large suite rooms

Staff are friendly. Unfortunately we could not access the pool table due to renovation. Mattresses are too soft.

Room was clean but lighting was minimal and we found the room to be a bit dark. The hotel definitely needs upgrades and renovations. The pool was small and looks quite dated. The location was ok. The staff informed us they lock the front doors at night which is questionable. They also charge $20 for parking which is ridiculous. Lots of hidden fees.

Amazing Staff and pet-friendly

So many charged extra paid for everything you can drink the water bottle because you have to pay $3 dollar par bottle you have to paid for the marketing of this place 🤔 😒 not to happy with all the extras chargers i paid $50 extra 😑

The property was clean, the outside was dated. Parking was very tight. Nice pool. Lots of space in the room. Staff were friendly.
