I understand the hotel was very fine in its day, the problem seems to be that its day was a long time ago and nothing has really changed inside. Everything feels very old, and not in a charming way. It feels like the bare minimum amount of staff are in place at any one time to reduce outgoings, there was no information about how to access the pool and gym facilities, either from staff or in room info (gents changing rooms closed when I was there which added to my uncertainty). Nothing was terrible, but nothing was particularly good either

Same music on repeat in bar. Which is overpriced. Menu in restaurant was not diverse and is so expensive for was it is. £21 for a burger but the chair you sit at your table on is broken and tables all wobbly. It’s just a joke.

It wasn’t a nice experience. They closed the bar early because they had a function on. So 210 guests were without drinks as there was no water in rooms either.

Hotel is totally outdated restaurant staff in the morning all looked like they where miserable and broken the person in charge was rude and disrespectful

Good facilities

Hotel itself was nice and spa area was lovely but the restaurant was not great; food was poor, some of the staff weren't interested in being there and slow service. I avoided the restaurant after the first night but unfortunately had breakfast included so couldnt avoid for that!

Everything was good about the hotel accept the restaurant was terrible, after being seated i waited 45 minutes to be asked for my order, whilst waiting i was offered other tables orders by error.. when i got the food it was just edible . Not worth the wait , definitely not worth the price,,, my advice is if you run a restaurant, get more staff and train them properly as they didnt seem to know what they was doing and the food was un edible ended going to the Asda store around the corner to get some food

We have stayed at this hotel many times and find that it meets our need of a quiet few days away and a spa to relax in. The rooms are spacious with tea/coffee making facilities and a small fridge. Large comfortable bed, warm room and plenty of hot water for baths and showers. Very helpful staff and plenty of parking.

This was a great hotel for our family weekend away to Paultons Park. The Reception staff were 5 star ... others we encountered around the hotel were fine but not to the same standard as the front of house Gentleman who checked us in. The hotel is clean and the breakfast standard was good but they seemed to run out of food very quickly and it took quite a while to replenish. The bar is a bit lacking in variety but it was fine for a quick drink. We had dinner at a pub called The Farmers House (outstanding food and service) so cannot comment on dinner but the menu looked fine and not overly priced. We went to the pool between 5pm and 6.30pm. It was very busy but the kids loved it. Overall an enjoyable stay and we would book again.

Cold shower, very small portions in the school type cafeteria restaurant. And to top it off an extremely expensive bar for stale wine. Overall a very bad experience, I had quite high expectations

Friendly and helpful reception staff. Comfortable room. A few breakfast cutbacks noticed but still good.

Hotel has lots of potential, unfortunately a few things let it down. The rooms were attended to every day but the floors were not hoovered or bins emptied, just beds made and fresh towels. The pool area was nice but again could have been cleaner. We spent over £400 in the Resturant during our stay, £150 on a valentines meal for my daughters 6th birthday which the food was lovely as was the layout of the table but the service was very poor. As was the service at breakfast. It really spoiled our weekend.
