Convenient and clean

I like the position of the hotel, it is convenient that I can go every sightseeing places by foot within a reasonable time period around 15-30 mins. I don’t like the cleanliness of the hotel, I feel it is a little bit dirty, I found a lighter under the bedside table, and some dirt around the toilet. I also found that there are some broken parts of toilet facilities. And when the box tissue is run out, the housekeeper does not refill it after tidy up the room in the second day.

Great location , nice clean room. The toilet door didn't lock or close properly and separate from the bathroom so had to walk round to wash hands, not ideal. Staff were nice and helpful and bed was comfy.

The room was very clean and big enough for us and our toddler, although i don't see how it could sleep 5. The facilities offered in the room were also great, for example there wasn't just tea and coffee, there was also a coffee pod machine, but i would have also liked to have seen hot chocolate. There were also little extras in the bathroom such as a shaving razor, toothbrush (but no toothpaste) and a little sewing kit. I also noticed in the bathroom that there was a sign saying to hang your towels up if you didn't need them changed but this sign is small and i didn't see it until my 2nd day at the hotel. I also liked the size of the TV, but was a bit annoyed that it didn't have all the freeview channels or Netflix available and it was an hour behind. I also thought it was odd that the bins in the room didn't have bin liners and i The hotel also came with a small swimming pool, sauna and gym but we weren't properly told how to book it. The breakfast also offered a really big buffet, but i would have preferred the hot food to be served fresh. And i think the evening meal was a bit expensive.

The staff were welcoming and polite at all times. the rooms were very clean and comfortable, our bed was big an very comfortable too. I especially loved the shower as had lots of pressure and the toiletries were from Rituals and smelled lovely! the swimming pool and the gym were exceptionally clean. The only thing that would improve the experience would be the pool water being a bit warmer and having a jacuzzi. Breakfast was nice with plenty options. It could not be better located, it was perfect to visit all attractions, only short walk to the docks, bars and shops, etc. I will definitely stay again on my next trips to Liverpool!

Great central location for all the shops and sights. Lovely friendly staff on reception. Room was good with a comfy bed. The swimming pool was a hit with the family. Great selection of breakfast items, the kids loved making the mini pancakes! Great value for a Tuesday night!

An excellent stay at the Novotel hotel in Liverpool. Great central location and the parking next door in the locked car park was handy! The hotel was clean, tidy and everything was well-maintained. The room was an excellent size and such a great layout, having the toilet and shower rooms separate. Good swimming pool and overall an excellent hotel.

On the 8th floor in an executive room and no air con. Had to keep the window open as it was so hot not much sleep as outside was noisy

Great hotel and very central to shops, bars and restaurants. Staff very friendly. Room was clean and spacious with a fudge, toilet and separate shower. Great price we paid. Would definitely recommend.

Extremely hot, fan offered in the bedroom but we all slept terrible due to the heat. Don’t stay here if it’s hot outside

Super nice staff at front desk very welcoming and helpful. We had the continental breakfast in bed and it was a lot of food and was excellent . Enjoyed the stay

Clean room, pool and amenities well maintained, visible staff cleaning the areas. Water not provided in room was told its a complimentary service for exec. Other than that it was a good stay. Very centrally located and close to shops and eateries. On site gym was not bad too

Staff was super friendly and helpful, location was like a 2-20 minute walk from everything. Bed was comfy (even the pull out couch was a good sleep).

Very close to the city center, walk a ball through a lot of things, well appointed. Great breakfast. A bit of a hassle with a parking deck, but not unexpected for an inner city hotel.
