It is not 5 stars hotel, you cannot expect that much, however, the hotel has good location, there are 2 underground stations, some restaurants and grocery stores around that place. It is very convenient. If you are looking for clean, and convenient hotel to stay, I strong recommend.

It was terrible to stay there ，it was underground with strong smell like stale banana and you can't fresh the air of the room..

It should not be called a hotel. It's just a room of less than 10 sq m with a bed and bathroom. No chair, no cleaning service, no air-con, no restaurant, no breakfast, no WiFi .Telephone not connected, fan broken. It's absolutely not worth £182 per night (excluding tax). We hardly stayed for 2 nights despite 3 nights were paid. The worst hotel experience ever had in lifetime.

Nice comfy bed, very quiet so a good sleep, nice staff but shower needs repair, room clear but stairs really dirty. Good value

Location superb close to Hyde Park. Lancaster Gate and Paddington. Hotel felt faded but the bed was clean and the bathroom was serviceable. Great price for the central London location - just don’t expect too much from the hotel … it’s a place to sleep and not much else

The staff were really positive and helpful. The hotel was very centrally located. The room was large. It was excellent value for money and I would stay there again

The room was small for 2 adults to move around. The shower needs work. You need an advanced degree in engineering to make it work properly. The bed was average. But since we need something quick, this was our best option that was close to Paddington Station. You really need to do your own diligence. You get what you paid for. I wouldn't recommend this to any Juan!! There are plenty of options around this area.

Clean room but basic, could not figure out how to keep window open, shower didn't drain well, telly didn't work

Property and rooms were dirty . Bathroom moldy. TV remote didn't work . No electric kettle. Find a different place.

Upon checking in, the only pictures that are remotely accurate (not even 100% accurate) is the picture of the lobby. The rooms are not the rooms they show in the pictures... complete scam. When getting up to my room, the hallways and room were very small, and I could barely fit my luggage through. Upon entering my room, the small bed took up the entire space of the room, and I couldn't even fully open my suitcase while it was on the floor because the room was so tiny. The pillows and sheets were covered in stains. There were dirty contacts on the side table. Stains on the walls, and you could tell the room was barely ever cleaned. The shower was literally like 4 sq. ft area with absolutely no room to move, and the water was either scorching hot or iced cold, but the temperature would not stay consistent. I had to jump out of the shower while soaking wet into the tiny bathroom to avoid burning myself when the temperature of the water would change every other minute. Also, the shower and the bathroom were very dirty, and you could tell they are barely cleaned. The sink would not drain either. The second I exited the shower and cleaned up, I looked into booking a different hotel. I booked the Bayswater Inn, which is very close to the Craven. My experience at the Craven all happened within a one hour window, until I booked at the BaysWater Inn, checked out of my three day stay an hour into it, and fled the Craven running.

The room had a window to a dirty and ugly space that had a window!? No ventilation in the room. Old and very worn bed linens. The hotel has no breakfast room which is a pity however this I knew when booking. Many problems with leaking water, electricity been cut of etc. mainly due to renovation work one floor up. No soap in the shower room other than one little bag enough for one washing of hands. Nothing for the shower.

Geografiska läget är väl allt hotellet har. Ligger perfekt nära Hyde Park och nära till tunnelbanan så man tar sig runt staden.

Terrible, cold shower, sink was not draining properly, terrible

Hotellet hade väldigt bra läge med nära till två underground stationer och personalen trevlig. Svartmögel i hela badrummet som också luktade avlopp. Ingen aircondition och bara ett litet fönster som man inte kunde ha öppet under natten pga precis vid en strupränna (rädd för att råttor skulle komma in), så det var otroligt varmt i rummet. Sängen gick att sova i men man låg i princip rätt på fjädrarna vilket inte var så bekvämt. Man får ju vad man betalar för så egentligen kanske man inte ska klaga.
