To be honest. The room wasn’t great. Very old fashioned and the bathroom door needed a good paint. Couldn’t turn on the bathroom radiator. Tv was tiny and bed not that comfy. Tiny room and very basic for the cost But great amenities for spa and leisure.

Bteakfast was very good, plus the gym accessibility was also great, especially given the size of the facility.

The room was clean, I'm not keen on the glass toilet doors in the ascot building but the room was nice and pretty well kept. There was some renovations going on in the main bar whilst we were they so breakfast wasn't in its normal place and it wasn't full buffet as it has been before. I do prefer the full buffet but the breakfast was very, very good and staff were great. Lush setting, looking out on the river, with lots of wildlife.

Great location and a beautiful walk down the Thames to Richmond only took 3 hours. Lots to do and see in the area. Peaceful and tranquil away from the hustle and bustle

Only loss of star was bathroom shower did not drain quickly and left the floor under water Staff dealt with it.

Would 100% recommend this hotel and if a upgrade is available at a good rate. Take it.

First visit and what a lovely place. The staff were so friendly, polite and helpful. I had a truly lovely massage in the spa and the food was good too. My room was a double and ideal size with a good bathroom. The Lensbury is currently going through a big refurb and it's being handled so well. We had no disturbance, the reception had been relocated, it was communicated in advance and it didn't spoil our stay. Points for improvement would be that in the wet spa area, it doesn't smell too great and needs some nice oils in the steam room or similar. A jacuzzi or bubble pool is needed because there's nowhere for friends to hang out or have poolside drinks after using the steam room or pool for a bit so we ended up leaving and walking into the village. I would return though.

The bar was closed for refurbishment and we only found out a couple of days before the trip. They allowed us to use the member area but it did mean drinks etc were limited to what was bottled. It was also very small so very loud when it started to fill up. The room we were in was in another building which we got lost trying to find, a map would have been helpful. The room was small but clean. The floor did creak loudly no matter where you stood which was annoying for us but imagine worse for the people below. We booked a standard room and won’t do that again. Will only go back when the refurb is complete

Het personeel is super vriendelijk. Het ontbijt was prima. Ik heb een aantal keer gebruik gemaakt van het binnen zwembad ( in een ander gebouw, tegenover het hotel) Daar kun je ook gebruik maken van de sauna en steam room. Helaas waren er veel renovatie werkzaamheden aan de gang. Hierdoor waren het restaurant en bar gesloten. Ook was de laatste twee dagen de receptie gesloten en een tijdelijke receptie gecreëerd. Wat in en uitlopen wat minder handig maakte. De ligging is leuk, mooie groene omgeving, met het openbaar vervoer een goed uur van hartje London. Maar een minuut of tien lopen vind je ook wat locale winkels, restaurants en pubs. Ik had graag geweten dat er renovatie werkzaamheden bezig waren. Maar deze zijn zeker niet overbodig. De kamer was prima maar gedateerd. Al met al een fijn verblijf gehad.

I stayed to use the leisure facilities, which were excellent. The grounds are beautiful, as is the location. The staff were all very helpful and pleasant. The room was in good condition and nicely stocked. It was lovely to have tea and coffee facilities and products in the bathroom.

Room we stayed in was really poor condition, needed a real re-vamp. Whilst the lady that checked us in was great…. The guy was quite rude to my son when he went to ask for towels. The spa staff, and facilities were excellent, with good parking.

Very helpful reception staff

Hotel is brilliant for kids. Soft play, swimming pool, use of water sports, outside playground. Carpet in the room was pretty disgusting. Decor definitely needs updating but clean other than that.

Due to refurbishment there were insufficient tables to have breakfast for my arrival time. Poor.

Great breakfast. Pool and thermal suite great. Lovely staff and wonderful location

Front desk staff was very helpful. We loved the fitness center and sauna.
