Helpful staff

No problem at all. Everything was just what I hoped for.

I had a lovely complimentary upgrade to a superior room. Just not superior enough. No nespresso machine just sachets of Nescafé and a gritty kettle. No hairdryer until I had to ask for one. No peppermint tea in the entire hotel?! The room was lovey and big, huge comfy bed but lacked important details such as decent coffee making facilities!

Excellent location in the city centre. Fabulous rooms with everything we needed for a comfy night's sleep.

Room was clean and adequate for 1 night stay. Bed comfortable and large even though expecting only a double. Pillows extremely firm as over filled - would have been nice to have 1 firm and 1 soft. Bathroom clean; however shower cubicle extremely small. I m glad we are not of a large size. The grouting needed a good clean. An impressive building with some lovely areas; however the old rugs on the floor are extremely tired- looking! A rather tired look throughout the hotel. Staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful.

Love this hotel. Right next to the station. Staff on reception and in the breakfast room are so lovely. Breakfast was very tasty and looked freshly prepared. Plenty of choice and good value. Room we were in was really clean and looked like it had recently been decorated. Shower was really good too.

Perfect stay. Just one minor thing the disabled access was tricky. Will definitely go back again and again.

Staff were polite and welcoming, the room was clean, although I got the family room which meant sound proofing wasn't great with the room next door and neighbour had the TV on very loud very late into the night. The gym was week equiped and clean

the location is fantastic, however our shower was less powerful than my home. The hotel team advised they would get their maintaince team to look into it. The breakfast and the breakfast room were excellent. Will definitely book again

Friendly helpful staff , room very comfortable& equipped. Good choice at breakfast , only downfall was quite a queue with just the one coffee machine which restricted the access around the breakfast area . Overall a very pleasant stay

Couple of gripes first. Why no plug sockets near the mirror? Two plug sockets were situated behind the big mirror which was nigh on impossible to get to. Had to lift the big mirror out of the way to get to it to plug my appliance. Also at £134 for a night - why only Nescafé sachets for coffee. Basic! Asked staff if they had any coffee bags - no. Was advised that Sainsbury’s was only round the corner if I needed to buy any. Room was ok, small double, bed was very comfy. Bit noisy as the bed was opposite the door, so could hear other people’s doors slamming. Didn’t wake us up though. The hotel itself is really beautiful and slap bang next to the railway station and a short walk into the city centre shops.

Ideally located next to the station and within a few minutes walk to the shops and city centre. We stayed here while going to a gig at the arena and it was about a 15 minute walk to there. Didn’t really spend that much time in the room/hotel as we dropped our bags and headed out and then got back late, but the room had everything you’d need including nice toiletries, tea and coffee making facilities, a little fridge, iron and hairdryer. Even though we weren’t there that long, we did notice how fantastic all the staff were. So welcoming, chatty, friendly and professional. If we’re staying in Leeds again, we’d definitely book here.
