Good breakfast and nice swimming pool with a view

Le déjeuner est décadent, c’est l’un des meilleurs déjeuner inclut! Super variété, excellente qualité et des mets typique de la Grèce. La chambre et le tapis était un peu humide. La piscine était très bien avec une très belle vue de la ville et de l’acropole. Service de navette gratuit pour se rendre à l’acropole était très apprécié.

So only 2 members of staff at the pool bar and the lady lifeguard was nice Every other member of staff were rude unhelpful unfriendly Not in a nice area at all Room was cleaner and the cleaner manager was lovely

…die Lage des Hotels ist in einer der schlechtesten Gegenden der Stadt (Kriminalität, Drogensüchtige,..) Zimmer abgewohnt und nicht sauber, das ganze Hotel braucht dringend eine Renovierung

The location with view to the Acropolis was great.

We had a lovely time at Novotel and the breakfast was delicious 😋

Hotel was in keeping with the standards I have come to expect from the chain, property was clean and staff were helpful. Would visit again.

Clean room very friendly staff, good neighborhood grocery store ATM very close by. Great breakfast and a really nice gift shop in the lobby.

Really lovely hotel with an excellent pool which was a life saver in the heat. The hotel is modern and very well maintained. It is not in the best area of Athens but had a bus to take you there and was near several metros.

Stayed at Novotel Athens recently and overall it was an average experience. The location is fine. Walkable to metro stations, which made getting around easy, though it felt a little unsafe after dark. Breakfast was extremely busy, often with nowhere to sit, and the food itself was just ok, nothing special. The pool was small and packed with kids, some using flippers and pool toys, which made it hard to actually relax and enjoy. Being a large hotel, noise was an issue too. You could hear other guests both at night and in the morning. For the price they charge, I expected a bit more overall.

After checking into our room we found there were clothes left in the closet by previous guests. Every time we got back to the room it smelled of smoke despite the hotel claiming it was a non-smoking room. It seemed like the people in the adjoining room were constantly smoking and the smoke was coming into our room under the adjoining room door. I called reception multiple times to let them know, but they didn’t do anything about it. The breakfast buffet was virtually empty by 10am on both days. There were no pastries, bread rolls, eggs or sausages left. We were told the kitchen had run out of food despite breakfast not ending until 10:30am. One positive thing was the view from the pool on the top floor. You can see all of Athens including the Acropolis.

Excellent! The pool is a nice addition!
