A very stylish hotel with service. It located in the city center, just 10mins walk to central station and easy to get to some attractions.

燈光不足，感覺不舒服

酒店由住宅改建，所以樓層的分佈有點奇怪，大堂的佈置是華麗的，亦富中國風。 我住得是有閣樓的房間，一入房間就感覺空空如也，房間一旁是櫥櫃，放置了熱水壺及少量即沖咖啡，靠窗放了一張枱和兩張櫈，然後就是洗手間。洗手間是今次住宿最可怕的體驗。企缸的設計，除非你靠近最入的牆角沖涼，否則一定會啲沖涼水一地都係，但洗手間冇去位，變相要等佢乾。有一晚我已經好小心沖涼，點知都一地水，然後我發現原來係佢個座廁漏水，最後因為第二日退房，我都冇同酒店反映了。 而瞓覺嘅地方喺閣樓，有電視機喺床尾，整體正常冇特別。

Hands down best hotel we have had in our European trip

Hôtel tres bien situé à deux pas de la gare et au calme sur un canal. La chambre était spacieuse et très bien décorée. Le personnel est attentionné et souriant.

I stayed here before and again this time. Really good service, very clean and staff friendly. I’ll come again

O quarto é enorme e muito confortável. O Banheiro também é bem grande. O hotel fica bem próximo da estação central de Amsterdã indo em direção a red ligth district. Não é uma região nobre mas para quem chega muito cedo ou vai partir muito cedo de Amsterdã, e vai pegar o trem na estação central, e localização é cômoda.

Sehr gute, zentrale Lage direkt an einer Gracht, nur etwa sechs Minuten zu Fuß vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt. Dafür fallen allerdings sehr hohe Tourismussteuern (über 20 € pro Tag) an. Das Hotel und die Zimmer sind insgesamt sehr dunkel gehalten; unser erstes Zimmer hatte zudem defekte Lampen, sodass wir wechseln mussten. Die Zimmer sind eher klein und bieten kaum Stauraum: Es gibt keinen Schrank, sondern lediglich einen an der Wand stehenden Paravan (Raumteiler) mit fünf Bügeln – das war die gesamte Aufbewahrungsmöglichkeit. Der Blick in den Hinterhof war wenig attraktiv. Sauberkeit in Ordnung, die Betten sind sauber, aber die Auflagen verrutschen. Handtücher groß und flauschig, Conditioner im Bad fehlt. Der Kaffee beim Frühstück war leider sehr schlecht: Der Latte Macchiato schmeckte stark bitter, die Milch war dünn und der Milchschaum praktisch nicht vorhanden – trotz Bohnen und frischer Milch enttäuschend.

What a beautiful hotel! It’s in a central location but the rooms are quiet, clean and beautifully decorated. Would highly recommend.

Room was amazing for a great price! conveniently located near the central train station.

Great location. Clean comfortable room. I wish they had avoided the disappointment of not being able to shower with an honest conversation at check in that the hotel had no hot water. It wasn’t that the issue was not solve able but we had traveled all day wanted a nice room a hot shower before going out to dinner. Unfortunately we had no shower and dinner in stinky travel clothes. Eventually they called to tell us it had been repaired but it was Luke warm at very best. Just be honest with people at check in. Overt the whole situation with not being sneaky.

Hotel em ótima localização muito confortável

Unfortunately, my experience at Hotel Mai was disappointing, beginning with check-in. Upon arriving early, the front desk staff member we encountered was rude from the beginning, before even asking our name, we were told check-in was at 3pm. We fully understood and had no issue waiting, but when we asked how we would be notified if a room became available earlier, we were simply told to keep coming back. She said we could not call or email, and would have to keep physically coming back every hour to check if something became available. Each time we returned to the desk, we were not acknowledged despite the staff member chatting with coworkers. No greeting, no eye contact, no updates. Only after we sat quietly in the lobby for some time did a room become available, again without any apology or explanation. During our stay, service remained inconsistent. When we requested our room to be cleaned, very little appeared to be done beyond making the bed. Trash was not emptied, toilet paper was not refilled, and the shower soap was completely empty. We had to ask twice for these basic items to be addressed. We also mentioned our experience with the front desk staff member to other employees, who responded that they knew exactly who we were referring to and that she “has good days and bad days.” This response was surprising and concerning, as it suggests the behavior is known and accepted rather than addressed. Hotel muito confortável e recepção extremamente simpática. Muito perto da estacao central. Super recomendo.
