The staff were kind and helpful. Just wasn’t my taste. The rooms were clean. No complaints

I stayed at a room designed by late Zaha Hadid. I felt if I was in another planet thanks to her extraordinary design taste. The location was good as it was only 5 minutes away from a subway station. Downside was there was no coffee maker (which is a standard at any hotel in the world) and they do not provide water bottles expect first two bottles no matter how long you stay (I stayed 3 nights).

Beautiful hotel

Arrived on a beautiful sunny day. The check in was seamless and the staff was very friendly. The rooms are themed and very clean and functional. I stayed on the second floor and I can assure you that there was no noise from outside. Only complaint was that the electrical plugs were not by the bedside and there was a steamer instead of an iron. But major problems, but I had to learn to steam in short time. The staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel was safe and well situated for my business purposes. All in all I would go back.

This is a convenient and friendly hotel. Each floor has a unique design, but without compromising convenience for "creativity". The staff is iinvariably helpful and responsive - with both internal hotel matters and outside bookings and recommendations. Not in the very center of the city. Yet, the hotel is just a 15 mins trip from the airport and it has a short and easy public transport, walking and taxi connection to the central parts of Madrid, as well as to various parks and attractions around town.

It was our first time at Hotel Puerta de America and we loved it! We enjoyed grabbing a meal and drinks with friends on the rooftop. We also appreciated the excellence of the housekeeping staff. Every day, we would come back to a room that was immaculately clean and stocked with fresh towels & bathroom amenities. The bed was also spacious and super comfy. We’ll definitely be back!

We have a great week at the hotel, was beautiful and with close access to the metro. Employees were friendly and assisted at all times, buffet area was great and my family enjoy the hotel. They put us on a floor called Star Wars. The room was so bare it was like staying in a YMCA. My wife booked this as a treat as she stayed there in the summer and said it was a luxurious hotel. The rest of the hotel was luxurious. Our room definitely wasn’t.

Definitely a futurist hotel. Looks really good and all the floors are unique and differents. Overall the room was clean, but the carpet was very dirty, which was unpleasant. Also, maybe the rooms should come with some instructions, cause we found it super complicated to adjust the AC.. We couldn't figure it out, and after multiple attempts, decided to call staff for help. Overall great experience! Also the restaurant has really good food, and their sweet sureau was fire!

Very cozy place!

My opinion like a 4star hotel, not a 5 star

My hotel for a short stay in Madrid. The hotel is nice, with interesting room designs from renowned architects. Little bmol, no complimentary tea/coffee and water only on the day of arrival. So if you are looking for a slightly quirky comfortable hotel, this is a great choice.
