We stayed during the X'mas period and it's quite full so maybe that's why we got bad rooms. Still we expect more from a 5-star hotel for problem solving. Humidity was bad in our rooms and lots of water stain on the wall. My pictures may be too dark to see but it's actually quite large and bad on the wall. And it also gave a bad smell. We asked for either a dehumidifier or another room, and it took a long time, and each staff asked us to go to another person for help...and they showed up with some lemongrass aromatherapy things. I think it's an okay 3.5 star hotel, but we are disappointing given the fact it's marketing as 5-star.

The buffet is perfect you can't find nearby The room is nice and cosy with two front door separate the mosquitos

Very bad experience!!! Never ever come back!!! The hotel is totally spoiled by tourist group!So bad service and bad attitude and it doesn't matter you are happy or not, because they will received many tourist group anyway since Kandy is hotspot for people from all over the world!!! They are not worry about no customer someday. Too bad it carries good name Cinnamon. Suggest to stay Regent hotel which is 5 minutes away and has good value and service. 非常差的酒店服务，态度恶略！ 酒店已经被一群又一群的游客宠坏了，他们不怕得罪客人， 因为每天又会有新的游客来。 离它5分钟远的地方有好酒店-REGENT， 价格服务都很好，最好选择那里。

飯店不在Kandy市區內,離市區車程約15-20分,整體c/p很高,bar及餐廳環境也很好

Schöne Anlage direkt am Fluss, ruhig gelegen. Durch die vielen Treppen ohne Aufzug nicht für gehbehinderte geeignet, bis auf den lauten Kühlschrank der Minibar war alles sehr gut. Getränkepreise sind für das Land sehr hoch undies kommen noch 30% Steuer hinzu.

Great stay at Cinnamon Citadel Kandy. Great clean spacious comfy rooms. Staff were amazing in all areas. Great drinks and buffet. Great chilling around the pool with plenty of comfy day beds. Would definitely stay again. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Thankyou to the whole team at Citadel Kandy. From the check in to checkout I was met with friendly helpful staff. Great service at breakfast and dinners. Excellent bar service and cocktail making. Hats off to the chefs for the range of delicious foods for the buffets. Sri Lanka is open and I’d recommend the Cinnamon Citadel as a great place to stay. Great quiet comfy rooms, good range of sun beds by the pool for relaxing. Was a great stay. Thanks again to all the team.

This hotel was one of the nicest I’ve stayed in beautiful surroundings by the river service was amazing. Cleanliness was outstanding. Service in general was perfect.

たくさんの緑に囲まれたホテルでエントランスからとても雰囲気が良かったです。 旅の途中に泊まることだけを目的として予約し一泊しましたが部屋も素敵で朝食も大変美味しかったので、次回はホテルでのんびり過ごすことを目的としプールや食事、キャンディの街探索を楽しみたいと思いました。

Great place to stay in Kandy

Beautiful location, really lovely rooms and the staff simply can not do enough for you. The location is a bit outside of kandy about 10 to 15 minute tuk tuk ride but the prices for food and drinks are very good value and the view is amazing so we only ventured out at night once over our 3 nights.
