Beds are terrible very outdated needs a lot of repairs

This resort needs some TLC. The location is good if you don't mind the noise of the planes a few times a day. It was actually cool to watch the planes take off while floating in the water. It would be good for kids who like planes. The rooms are clean, bathrooms are updated, linens were clean and refreshed daily, but the chair, bed skirt and couch cushions need to be replaced. The food was good at the restaurant, but the service was poor. We ate dinner there twice and breakfast 2 mornings. The food was fresh and tasty. However, they were short staffed every day and employees were not happy. The bar area needs to be fixed, tiles missing from the walls and it was not cleaned daily. Bartenders were miserable. We received a voucher for a free drink upon arrival were a party of 2 and received 1 voucher. After the bartender served the free drink, he did not ask us if wanted another drink. Served the drink and walked and didn't come back for a while. Beach was beautiful, and it was close to town with all the shopping. The pool was nice but there were no tables in between the lounges to put your drink down. It was gated, so only people staying at the hotel were allowed in. Which was a positive on the days the cruise ships docked. If you need to stay in a fancy hotel, this is not the place for you. If you just want to be on the beach and are willing to overlook all the imperfections, it is an affordable getaway. It's good for a few days to just relax on the beach.

I stayed for 5 days. Resort is right across from the airport so if you don’t want to hear planes flying all day then I won’t go here, me I didn’t mind it whatsoever, I’m used to noise. The room was clean, however, I felt like the cost of everything wasn’t worth it..no food included, no drinks included, you get a different price everyday for the same thing you ordered the day prior. On my last day there was a shooting on the resort which made my child very nervous to sleep being our room was facing that way. All in all I rate it a 3 out of 5 stars. The beach and ambiance is nice. A little too pricey for what you get especially with no elevators.

Spent one night here. Waited for our breakfast for one hour (there were two of us) and probably 20 other patrons. The waitress was kind but overwhelmed. My bagel had bacon on it which was not in the menu description. I am vegetarian. She did not check to see how we liked our meal so my friend ate hers but I didn't. I was not charged for the meal. We went to the beach (which is public). There was music blasting from nearby waverunner rentals. The beach was littered with plastic and cigarette butts. We moved further down the beach to avoid the noise and while there a man came by selling pot. He and his friends smoked several joints while we were there. Our room: the bathroom door was hanging like a barn door. They had affixed a latch in an attempt to make the door shut. The room was fine other than the bathroom "door." The view from the balcony was lovely. However I expected more for the price (we had just spent a week on St John in a villa with a similar price point ) I was so happy to leave the next morning.

Roaches in the room. Phone didnt work. The menu for the resort was incorrect and limited. The resort stole over a thousand dollars from us during the check in progress and when confronted about the issue they resisted alot until further action was taken on our part. Some of the male staff at the restaurant hit on us constantly making us feel unsafe to be in the restaurant every time we went to eat. Took the general manager over a week to refund what they took from us. St Thomas is a beautiful place with deep and rich history but please for your own sanity, cleanliness and safety choose a different resort

No hot water in the room and a sewer gas smell in sinks

Limited dining. Food quality poor. Very expensive

The staff was exceptional!

We stayed at this property 15 years ago. The property, naturally has ages since we last stayed. Upkeep, to a degree, was evident. Little things such as no on/off switches on two of the 3 lamps in the room and several items powered by a single extension cord were concerning.

The rooms are clean. Staff is not friendly. No towels on the first day. It was a good time overall. Staff is dry and unfriendly.
