Checking in the staff was helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and larger than expected. The room was in good condition and had a microwave and fridge.
The hotel was within walking distance of the esplanade, Central train station, shopping and the marinas.
The breakfast was a buffet on the weekend and it was as good as I’ve had in a while. The weekday breakfast was a small cafe , Goose Cafe, 30 m to the north. You get a $20 credit for breakfast. No complaints here. I had bf and a large flat white for <$5.
The pool and spa looked inviting but I didn’t use them.
Overall I enjoyed my stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel.
Tip: ask for a room on the poolside - away from the street and you’ll see sunrise.

Nothing really exciting but you get all the basics at a fair price. Process to get on the WiFi is a bit annoying as it kept logging out and prompted for passcode. Requires a bit of walking if you want to hunt for food or supermarkets (around 10 min walk).

Overall we liked our stay. But would have liked room cleaning more often. We stayed for six nights and no cleaning was made. There was no kitchen supplies in our apartment (no frying pan or skillet), so we could not use the stove. But the staff in the reception was very helpful.

The one bedroom apartment was good but they should advertise on their website that if you use the power in the kitchenette that it could trigger a $1,000 bill from the Fire Brigade for their "over sensitive" smoke alarms. Therefore we could only use the microwave which is not as good. They also don’t supply dishcloths or dish washing liquid which we receive in more basic accommodation.

Microwave and balcony was what I was looking for. Due to location I was facing main road though. Servicing the room would be done after 7 night stay which is quite a while.

Paid extra for buffet breakfast with Wotif and received email from hotel saying buffet breakfast included but when there only get told no breakfast here just a $20 voucher each to local cafe Where bacon and eggs on toast $23 so not good 😐

The hotel is nice, massive bed, comfy sofa and very friendly staff. Communication was good prior to visit.
We went for an apartment style room for the cooking facilities, but there were no pots and pans or cooking utensils, meaning we couldn’t really use these facilities. Not sure if this is normal, but worth confirming with the hotel if you, like us, went for this bigger room for these amenities.

Due to delayed flights we were very late to arrive. Instructions for arrival and ease of access to apartment was excellent and just what we needed. Very much a no hassle stay.
