We arrived at 1 a.m. and the staff was very friendly and efficient. We were in our room very quickly. The included breakfast was a welcome surprise. They location of this hotel is ideal.

Very old rooms, small and no room for 2 suitcases. Outdated. Very loud and no insulation- can hear everything inside and out. Value for price paid was poor. Excellent location.

The staff were excellent and the room lovely. We upgraded to a balcony room on the Bear Street side because of ongoing construction on Caribou Street. Once this is finished(soon) I would give hotel 5 or more stars. Much more convenient than other hotels for dining and shopping, and lots of thoughtful and helpful touches.

Excellent location close to all shops and restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice to have the indoor parking available and the included breakfast was good. The only issue and not the hotel’s fault was our room was adjacent to a nearby building where trucks would deliver very early thus making noise including the employees talking loud.
Besides that everything was very good.

There was no AC in the room, but there was in the common areas. So the rooms were warm and the hallways were super cold. We had fans for the room, but they didn’t help much. The laundry facilities were down the whole time we were there. Staff was great. Breakfast was OK.

The rooms are rustic, but very clean and quaint. The downside is that there is no air conditioning. The interior of the hotel is beautiful with the wood accents, and the breakfast nook is a great place to grab a bite to eat in the morning. Parking is limited, but can be reserved. The biggest downside is the insane prices of rooms, which is typical for Banff hotels scamming visitors. Even the parking was an additional $50 after paying $1100 for 2 nights in a standard room. Otherwise, great hotel and right in the heart of downtown Banff.

Good stay, nice place, comfortabel rooms, ans excellent staff but the construction outside was v. annoying. If you wake up early/plan to wake upneaely and arenr going to be in town until 5pm then this is a fine place.
I found myself sick and the construction was very annoying
