Fairmont Banff Springs

The room is insanely small. It is absolutely overated. Also the floor was designed with zero consideration of their customer. It has stairs in each floor. I have to carry my two huge suitcases upstairs. DO NOT CHOOSE THIS HOTEL. trash as fk.

The staff, from the beginning to the end of our trip, were exceptional. Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to ensure that all of our needs were met. The hotel is situated in one of the most breathtaking locations imaginable and offers outstanding amenities, including a wonderful spa and beautiful pools. The golf course was impeccably maintained, and the scenery is truly second to none. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return. While the prices are certainly on the higher side, the overall experience makes it well worth the cost. Another great feature is that the hotel is within walking distance of the town of Banff, with several fantastic hiking trails accessible directly from the property. Lastly, I highly recommend Castello, the hotel's Italian restaurant. The quality of the food was outstanding, and the prices were very reasonable considering the exceptional dining experience.

Absolutely stunning hotel, great staff, fantastic room and great amenities Outdoor pool was amazing and has great hot tub & Saina. The staff are outstanding with a welcome smile and are always happy to help.

I am torn for giving the Fairmont Banff Springs a 3-star rating, however I just couldn't get over the tiniest hotel bathroom I've ever seen at a luxury property nonetheless. I do have to say that the service at this property is outstanding. The Fairmont Gold experience is fantastic as was the amazing Gold Concierge, Oliver. When I checked in I was assigned an accessible room which I was disappointed with. The concierge on duty assured me they would try to find me another room starting the next day, and in hindsight I almost wish I'd kept the accessible room as it was much larger with a huge bathroom compared to what I got in my next room. Oliver was so very kind as upgraded me to a junior suite on the Gold level with amazing views. The room was absolutely lovely aside from the tiniest bathroom I've ever seen in any hotel, much less a luxury property. I understand that the age of this property necessitated some creative bathroom locations due to plumbing, however this is on the ridiculously small side. It was impossible to event close the door with one person standing in the bathroom. Otherwise, everything was fantastic with my stay: Fairmont Gold 5/5: The Gold reception area with dedicated valet and check-in makes the gold experience feel like a hotel within a hotel. The gold floor is so special with a dedicated concierge (say hello to Oliver for me :-), and the best lounge food and beverages I've experienced. A stunning castle like hotel in the mountains. Absolutely beautiful. The views are amazing and we enjoyed the spa and hot springs at the hotel. It is the nicest spa I have been to.

It was amazing as always!

Good location and the building looks magistic. The check in was very slow. When we got into our room, we found 3 big suitcases there, perhaps belong to the previouse guests. And we had to call staffs to take them away. The maid did not clean the alarm that previouse guset set. The alarm went out at 4:25 am which woke us up, seriously disturbed our sleep. No night service. Staffs at the entrance of restaurants and bars are snobby.

It was one of the best resort that I have ever stayed in. Location was fantastic. Service was superb. Staff was attentive to details . Property was well maintained and rooms were fantastic . Highly recommended !! Syed

The property is so amazing and historic! Staff is friendly and helpful, everything was so clean, room had special touches to make the anniversary weekend memorable. The hot pool outside was our favorite part and made a rainy weekend still enjoyable and relaxing
