The location speaks for itself but the staff were so attentive and friendly. They really went the extra mile to make sure all of your needs were met and you were satisfied. This goes for everyone -from wait staff, housekeeping, valet/front desk, spa, and shops. The resort has everything you could possibly need if you didn't want to leave the premises. Even some of the most scenic hikes originate in the hotel grounds. We went during Christmas when the temp dropped to 20 below so we stayed in and never felt like we were missing out! Beautifully decorated, ability to rent outdoor gear, and a really cool history of the hotel tour-It was an experience we will never forget!

This was an absolutely amazing experience. The Fairmont Banf has beyond excellent customer service with wonderful amenities. Variety of restaurants to choose from lots of activities and very family friendly. Great bars. The spa is wonderful. Indoor and outdoor pool and jacuzzi and sauna. Transportation provided into the town and great walkable trails all around. Highly recommend.

It was a mixed bag, but I enjoyed it. I would not recommend paying full price here though (it will not be worth it). I booked a gold room on Expedia, but when I got the booking all references to the gold room had disappeared. The room and the hotel were very nice. The room is large but the washroom is the size of one you would see at a hostel in China. The steak house was amazing, but the bars and vermillion restaurant were disappointing. The woman at the front desk helping you find activities in the area was amazing.
