The building inside is very old, many things are damage and did not change.

Hotel muito bem localizado, perto da estação de trem e metrô, dispensando uso de carro, o que é ótimo em Londres. Mas, as instalações do hotel (exceto a Recepção e Bar), são muito ruins. Os quartos são verdadeiros cubículos, sem ar condicionado e alguns sem janela inclusive. A circulação dentro deles é difícil e não há espaço para malas. O “guarda roupas” é um minúsculo armário com menos de 40 cm de largura. Péssimo!!

This hotel is very close to the Paddington station which makes moving around easy. The rooms are not sound proof and can therefore doors can be heard as well as merely the guest above you walking. The room I had , the window lock was broken so it could not close. Assurance was given by the front desk it is safe. Front desk staff were very helpful. There is no air conditioning so thankfully the nights were cool.

Clean rooms, very helpful staff, and an excellent location! The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Paddington Station , buses, stores and restaurants . ​The only downside was a mistake on my part: I didn't read closely enough to see that they don't have air conditioning in the rooms.I travelled at the end of May and the room was incredibly hot. The rooms have fans but it just wasn't enough for us.

We were on the fifth floor in super small room without AC and a beyond small bathroom . Everything was clean just a horrible old plumbing smell in the bathroom . No room to put toiletries . Extremely small shower , difficult to wash hair . The bedroom didn’t even have a chair . Asked for a chair , first thing they brought was a luggage holder , then after asking again they brought a chair . Got to the hotel at 9:20 . It was an extremely hot day .No service at the bar .Just wanted some ice . The lady at the lobby was like wel nothing I can do about it . We didn’t get a new box of tisseus in the bedroom . Again asked at the lobby , they must have been flustered because only one elevator was working . The person threw the open box of tissues to me , After paying a lot of money , it would have been great to have Ac and being friendly and kind goes a long way . The best thing was the location , only 5 minutes walk of Paddington station .lots and lots of hotels near and around Paddington . I wouldn’t recommend the “ Royal eagle “ . Nothing Royal about it , except that it was clean . One more thing if you are on the fifth floor only one elevator goes to the fifth floor and you need to push the button up of the other elevator ,

It was a good hotel for one night. It was a very small room and bathroom. The walls were also very thin so you could hear a lot in the hall/other rooms. They had a good breakfast.

Very small room Only one outlet in the room and none in the bathroom. This made charging electronic devices, blow drying hair, ect difficult.

This is a great hotel and the staff are exceptional. My room was cleaned every day and nicely done. It's VERY close to paddington train station. It has a lounge with a fully stocked bar It has 2 elevators which is unusual for london hotels in the paddington area. I travel solo but i noticed that there were many families staying there. I highly recommend this hotel.

Hyvä sijainti. Yksinkertaiset ikkunat, joten katuliikenne kuuluu huoneisiin. Aamupala oli hyvä, vaikkakin sama joka aamu. Pienehkö huone, siisti kylpyhuone.

La chambre au grenier (519) semble avoir été «ajoutée ». La télé ne fonctionnait pas. Les puits de lumière sont restés ouverts malgré la pluie. La poignée de porte de la salle de bain était non fixée. L’installation de la chambre laissait à désirer…

Double room was ok but not that spacious. Everything else i.e. staff, breakfast, amenities, location were all great. Happy to stay again though in a bigger room.

La habitación era muy pequeña. Nos tocó una habitación que estaba al lado del ascensor y como las parades son muy finas se escuchaba todo. Pero está bastante bien ubicado y el personal es muy amable.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good, better than I expected. The room was small and there was no desk or table, so my back got sore when I wanted to write, etc.

Ett bra medelklass hotell. Rent och snyggt. Ganska ok frukost. Nära till station och annat. Ganska litet rum och minimalt badrum.

The staff was great and made every attempt to make the stay comfortable. That being said, the accommodations were quite disappointing, and not as advertised! Based on the photos presented on Expedia, the room was very small, think very small college dorm. I had requested 3 single beds. Instead, we were met with one single and one double. There was limited room to maneuver around for 3 people, and only one electrical outlet. Also, in order to access the room, we had to use 2 rather small elevators, and had to two sets of stairs (we were on the 5th floor) to scale, with luggage. While I truly enjoyed interacting with the staff and the excellent location of the property (very walkable to bars and restaurants), I would not recommend this hotel to anyone over 65, who is not traveling solo.

Overall, the stay was pretty average but solid. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was friendly during check-in. The only real issue was there weren’t enough outlets in convenient spots to charge devices and access power easily. Other than that, it was a decent place to stay for a night or two. One thing I did like was the location. It was close to public transportation, which made getting around simple and convenient.

Staff are wonderful- very helpful.
