Old but the room is clean. There was some trouble when checking in, due to a system failure either of Hotels.com or the hotel itself. Fortunately, the receptionist was very patient, and helped us check in despite all the difficulties.

Value for money. Friendly staff. Some room amenities overdue for maintenance. Lights needed replacing.bBathroom needs an exhaust fan.bOaint able vebtub in listened and peeling due to exposure to steam.

Perfect night stay apart from the noisy Sea gulls in the morning lol!

Room in poor condition radiator gone rusty and painted with emulsion window sill in a poor condition and plaster missing below,bathroom sink has big chip inside painted with white paint no plug for bath stayed Friday 29/8/25and Saturday the 30/8/25 room not cleaned and no clean towels left although we put make my room up sign on door rom 432.

Finding the hotel was a bit of a challenge; a few roads were closed which didn’t show up on our map. When we finally arrived check in was very smooth. The room was a little dated but otherwise fine. The beds/bedding were extremely comfortable. The room was a little warm and the only way to cool down was to open a noisy window. Mind that there is a sort of pond near by and birds LOVE to make noise in the early morning. The breakfast was hot, fresh and delicious with a good variety of items.

Location is wonderful. Close to Hyndland station, plenty cafes on Hyndland Road near by, little M&S in front of the hotel. Hotel stands in the Gartnavel Hospital ground but the hospital ground is great with many walking paths and green space. Car park is large enough, staff attaitive. Downside is the hotel is slightly old, the corridor flooring makes noise, bathroom fitting little tired looking. But everything else is comfortable enough.

Comfortable large room, dated but clean. Shower bit difficult but figured it out.

The hotel is tired and we arrived at 9 and the kitchen was closed . However the staff were lovely did advise we could get a takeaway and they would give us plates etc . We had spotted a Wetherspoon close and went there . Couldn’t fault the staff

The towel that was in our room was covered in holes. Not good enough for the price of the hotel

I've stayed here many times over the years and its a decent enough hotel. Rooms are a little dated but fit for purpose. Location is great for Glasgow west end. Staff are great and breakfast is decent enough also. Large car park but might be chargeable. Havent ate there often but its pretty expensive from what I can remember.

Beds were fresh and clean but the overall cleanliness of the room could have been better. The room looked a little tired and overused. The breakfast was available with choice of cooked and cereal and fruit. The staff were helpful and polite. Just feel the room I was in needs a little TLC.

Hotellet ligger sentralt til med kort gangvei til togbane for å komme seg ned i sentrum. Hotellet bærer preg av å være gammelt/slitt, men det er rent og sengene er behagelige. Personalet er hyggelige og behjelpelige. Det er litt vel lytt mellom rommene, så andre gjester kan fort virke forstyrrende hvis man ønsker ro og stillhet. I tillegg tillates det røyking ved inngangen, noe som kan være irriterende for dem som ikke setter pris på røyklukt da det trekker inn vinduene på rommene. Dette er det som trekker hotellet ned for min del. Vi hadde imidlertid et fint opphold her og anbefaler hotellet.

Comfy convenient great stay. Good night sleep with no issues

Stayed at this property before and was given a room next to the lift which was extremely noisy. Mentioned this at check in and was assured we had a different room. Room was clean but small. However it was particularly warm even though the temperatures were fairly average for august, dread to think what it would be like during a heatwave. The window only opened slightly and if the blackout curtains were closed no fresh air got through anyway. A fan was provided but with only plugs near the tv this meant it was a fair way from the bed making sleeping uncomfortable. Onto the plugs issue.. the hotel hairdryer is wired in through a desk draw with minimal cable. This meant there was no way to see in either the room mirror or the bathroom mirror, whilst using. I had taken my own hairdryer but the problem was still bad due to the lack of electric outlets. Overall although the room was clean it was very small and needs aircon or further plug sockets for use of provided fans.

I love this hotel for its location & I’ve stayed here regularly for many years, but it really is in need of updating now. The cost of staying here has risen dramatically recently but the standard hasn’t. Cold showers are a regular occurrence here which is just really frustrating. The staff here are fabulous though

Good facilities

Hotel is a little “tired,” doesn’t look nearly as nice in person as it does in pictures. Bathroom very tiny, not much room for stuff except a 2-inch shelf, no plugs near the bed. Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast is worth it to pay in advance, a lot ot options and full sized breakfast.

Worst hotel I ever stayed in.

The lobby was ok. After that it’s downhill. The rooms have sticky carpet, there’s no AC. There were moths in the room on arrival. We were told there’s no rooms available to change to. It’s popular but with road workers - honestly, they deserve better if that’s what the companies provided them with. Don’t stay here unless if you want to stay awake with the sound of seagulls or the thoughts of bugs and how grimy the whole place was.
