About Pantar Airport

Pantar Airport, also known as Kabir Airport, is a small airstrip on Pantar Island in Alor Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. It was built to cut the travel time between this remote island and the rest of the province, and it opened in 2021. The airport is operated under the Ministry of Transportation's Directorate General of Civil Aviation.

The airport is in Kabir village, in the Pantar district of Alor Regency. Pantar lies west of Alor Island, between Alor and Lembata.

The runway is about 900 metres long, sized for small aircraft such as the Cessna 208 Caravan. There is a small terminal building for passengers.
