It's not often you go on holiday and you want wait to go home... This was that kind of holiday. Between the expensive and terrible food, to the noisy kids everywhere and the facilities all being small, cramped and jammed full of people, I'm finding it hard to think of what was good about it. The room was SO uncomfortable, I had woken up both nights in the middle of the night so hot because our room did not have aircon or a window that opens more than a few centimeters, but the kids room did. After 1 day, the lift stopped working, so that made checking out interesting. We had to cart all the stuff down the stairs. The pillows were SO uncomfortable, I had a stiff neck all holiday. Then the facilities was often closed for whatever reason (the kids can't play basketball when they have kids club on or the water slides will randomly be closed for no reason). The whole place is run down and you pay extra to do any activitity like ice skating or kids club. Don't even consider the place if your kids are older than 8 as it is too boring for older kids. Make sure your room has aircon and byo pillow. Last but not least, I paid $20 a night to park our car at the resort, only to not have space in the car park, so we had to park a block away from the facility. The staff was helpful and friendly, especially room service. That's the only positive I can think of. Definitely don't waste your time or money on this decapitated place. There are some better family friendly options down the coast.

We liked the hotel but there is a lot of stuff they said they had but weren’t available. We only used the water park because the ice skating wasn’t available, the kids club was not on and too expensive. There wasn’t any lazer games and there was no free kids games room everything had to be money.

Great entertainment for kids. Old rooms still a bit dated (90’s feel). New rooms are great. Staff not very engaging. Would have like simple salad sandwich or wrap on the restaurant lunch menu. Had to pay for all the extra kids activities, fair enough, but they were pricy. Otherwise, a good experience.

We recently stayed here as a family and overall had a mixed experience. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which we really appreciated. The kids’ activities were excellent, and the pool setup is fantastic for families - it’s clearly designed with kids in mind and was one of the highlights. The main issue was pool access. There didn’t seem to be any monitoring of who was using the hotel pool, and on multiple days we encountered large groups who openly said they weren’t staying at the hotel. They were set up for the day with coolers, which made it nearly impossible for actual guests to secure a spot. That was frustrating given the room rates. The rooms themselves felt tired - more like a run-down motel than a resort at this price point. It gave the impression that only minimal maintenance is being done ahead of a future renovation. For what we paid, this was disappointing. On the positive side, the location is excellent. It’s a short walk to the tram, and the bus to SeaWorld stops right out the front, which made getting around very easy. In summary: great staff, great facilities for kids, and a convenient location - but the condition of the rooms and lack of pool access control detracted from the overall value.
