We loved this hotel. It's in a great location close to the train station. The staff was really nice and allowed us to leave our bags early prior to checkin which was helpful. The room was very spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable and the fans kept us cool. The breakfast buffet was tasty with a lot of choices. We also tried the Sunday Roast at the hotel restaurant which was pretty tasty too. We parked a car on our second day and it was easy to park in a lot up from the hotel and the front desk validated our parking which made it free. We enjoyed our two night stay.

I have stayed at The Liner a few times and again my stay was excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff. Pleasant hotel with opulent fittings. Cosy warm room and very comfortable bed, good bath facilities. Enjoyed restaurant and bar. Very conveniently placed in town. Excellent free parking facilities (although now open to non residents and can fill up). Secondary glazing fitted to bedrooms and thick curtains to ensure quiet night and excellent sleep.

Great location as it’s next to the railway station and just on the edge of the area to enjoy the bars and restaurants. The car park is free for residents. Staff very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and quiet and although not air conditioned had a big fan. I would definitely stay there again

Arrived at 9pm, to find that the bar and restaurant finished serving food at 9.15. So keep in mind to get something on route if you’re going to be late. No WiFi in hotel, which was still the case in the morning. Would recommend asking for a room on side away from train station as loud noises to late from the station. Rooms are dated but have all amenities, good coffee maker, and nice touch of fresh milk, biscuits, bath robes and toiletries. Would stay again due to cloesness to station, ideal for a single night, but would request quieter room.

Great place to stay, excellent for Lime Street no more than 2 minutes away, staff great facilities good. A few things of concern not that it would not stop me booking again is 1 ply toilet rolls not great as it's not a budget hotel, also the radiators are clanking all night certainly on the room we had on 6 th floor, very annoying which affects your sleep, also the ceramic tiles in my bathroom were all lose and moved when you walked on them However bedrooms great extremely comfortable large beds and generally a great stay, would have no problem re booking this hotel but next time I would check out the things that required doing.
