It was excellent only things i notice were i saw a fly buzzing around the cereal bar in the morning and you can here some noise in room due to the bar/ functions so may be a little issue for a light sleeper the noise does stop though and isn't ongoing but not really a problem for me. Staff very friendly and will definitely stay here again. Thanks for the wonderful stay

The Liner is a nice hotel close to central Liverpool. It’s a little dated, but still very good. The restaurant is very good with a diverse menu. The staff are friendly, efficient, and welcoming.

Had a great stay at the Liner in Liverpool, staff were very friendly and helpful, room was clean and tidy, gave us an upgrade to a deluxe room. Breakfast was very nice. Highly recommend staying at this hotel

Always a good experience. 4th or 5th time we've stayed here. Always clean, Always friendly staff, central to everything, right next to Lime St Station, Car park next to it (first come first served), but we've never missed out. Food great and great choice in the restaurant. On site bar, good choice, good prices. 5*.

Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Room was basic and had no fridge. Windows are poor and do not block out street sounds so it makes for a noisy night's sleep (or lack thereof). Grateful we were on the front though so we didn't hear the train announcements from Lime St station next door.
It's the staff that make the stay pleasant.

The room as a whoke was good but when trying to sleep it was far too hot we did put the fan on but it was very noisy sounds like it was going to break. Lovely restaurant service and reception and breakfast staff

Have stayed here before, not disappointed again this time. Would definitely recommend a stay here. Very friendly staff clean hotel, breakfast good, convenient for everything in Liverpool. Will be back.

Apart from some peeling wallpaper, the hotel is great. I like the way it is built around its name, with appropriate pictures and decor. The staff were helpful, the linen was lovely especially the towels which were thick and fluffy.
