Staff friendly and helpful and room clean and well stocked with a big comfy bed. Free parking next to the hotel but wasn’t told when booking in that we had to tell the receptionist our reg number to get out of the car park when booking in. Felt really sorry for the receptionist on duty on the morning we left the hotel, she was on her own and the queue of people at the desk was quite long and not everyone was departing the hotel so it took a while to sort everyone out

Room very clean & modern. Any problems they would fix it right away. The bathroom was nice . The large bath towels were soft. The pillows on the bed were soft. I forgot my key card and was issued with another so I didn’t have to go back upstairs to get my other key card. This enabled us to go out and sight see the area where we were and get some lunch. We were a 4 minute walk away from Lime Street Train Station. We didn’t realise it until we went on a walk to check out the area where we were. Would definitely come back and stay. There was soya yogurt and milk. Never had soya yogurt at any of the hotels we’ve stayed at in the 21 years we’ve been going to hotels.

We came back at 10.45 to use the hotel bar to be told you do know its a Tuesday night therefore the bar is closed although it was the 30th of December and half of the country was off. I asked for a bottle of wine for me and my husband to take up and they only had the very small bottles to offer us. The staff behind the reception made us feel a nuisance that we was interrupting. We went out fir a additional drink came back a hour later and requested 2 small bottles of wine to take up with us for a night cap to be told now they didn’t have any that a member of staff had gone out to do some shopping to get some stock in We are not happy as this was supposed to be a treat

Second time I have stayed in this hotel. It’s situated next door to Liverpool Lime Street station, roughly a two minute walk, and Liverpool One is a five minute walk away. The staff on the reception couldn’t be any more helpful. The rooms are spotless. We will definitely be staying here again.
